BRACA 1 and 2 testing

My mother died from ovarian cancer at 59 and my sister diagnosed with breast cancer at 47 so I decided to get tested. My 1st appt is Jun 24th and now I'm getting nervous. This may sound strange but I fear a false negative. There were only the 3 of us. I have indured 2 biopsies, both benign, but each year I get the mammo madness. I hate my insurance holds my life in their hands.

    Hi--Hoping your results are negative....Has your sister been tested? If so and you know she is positive, you can be assured that you are true negative--at least true negative for the identified gene--have you talked w/ a genetic counselor?
