My report of my visit with Dr. Wong/master herbalist!

haha...I love percocet as well...heehee
Although, I just read an article about how opiates can make cancer grow faster...yikes...i took a ton after surgery!
-
Let us know how you do...heck, we might all be standing in line for his elixer pretty soon. I wanted to tell you, though you don't need it now that kelp is a good source of iodine...w/o side effects.
-
I thought I read something about kelp...does it have levels of contamination from the ocean? Im wondering why it doesn't give side effects but Lugols does...so many questions.
-
i think it's just not as strong and condensed form of iodine, and I''ve never heard about problems w/ contaminents from the ocean.
-
My hubby thinks I am getting too excited too soon and jumping the gun...BUT, my face is already starting to clear up...I believe, due to the herbs! I have really bad Rosacea and had asked Dr. Wong if there was something he could also put in the herbal mix to help with that....hope it's not all in my head...haha

I took a lot of P after surgery too because I had really intense pain, to the point I thought I made a big mistake on the 3rd day after surgery. Before that I never took any meds at all and didn't like the idea of it so when the pain started to be tolerable I stopped them abruptly. I felt so awful I thought I must have a post op infection. I had only taken the meds for about 7 days but I took 2 every 4 hrs and was watching the clock at 3 hrs. A friend who was an ed nurse told me it was withdrawl which had not even entered my mind. Luckily I had some left to taper with. I was just wondering about the iodine because I have been taking it in my coffee every morning. Remember the thread where people post their protocol? Maybe you could update your there with the supplements that he says to keep taking? I need to put mine up there too but it keeps changing. Two new things I have started are MSM, based on some comments I read on this site, and vinegar capsules. Been hearing for years how its good for so many things but just cannot choke it down so I figured I'd try the capsules since they are cheap!
-
When I take my iodine, i put it in my ACV concoction....raw apple cider vinegar with water and sodium bicarb....I have heard conflicting things about when to take the vit c...I have heard its ok to take with the iodine and I have heard it's not and to take far away from it...what do you do?

Hi joellelee,
I looked at some of my previous blood work and noticed that my WBC was much higher before. The blood work from last month shows WBC at the minimum of the normal range. I only had radiation in March and surgery last January. Can radiation be the cause? Also do we have to go meet doctor Wong in person or does he do phone exams? Besides your pulse, did he do any other exams that can not be done over the phone? I can send all my lab work to him. Is your herbal tamoxifen in the form of tea or capsule? Sorry I have too many questions b/c I am very interested in this matter.
-
I had lost ALOt of blood during my surgery this past January, plus my second revision surgery to the point that I was borderline transfusion, which is why he thinks my count is so low...scares me. I did not do radiation or chemo. I am not sure if Dr. Wong will just do phone consults or if he needs to see you...I do know he looked over my pathology report and bloodwork and did an 'energy' pulse reading on me to assess my needs. I take the herbals in liquid form and love the way they make me feel.
-
Yes radiotherapy can lower wbc
-
Its impossible for me to get to USA but is there any other way of getting a consult with him?id love to feel good again!
-
THanks so much for reporting back.
How low is your white blood cell count?
I must say that I am really surprised that he would recommend coffee enemas, but he is right about the vegetarian diet. As far as I can tell, it is definitely good to eat loads of veggies, but it doesn't mean that you ahve to skip meat completely.
-
Joelle I have just been putting 3 drops of iodine in my coffee in the mornign and take all of my supplements at the samt time when I get around to it. Sometimes during the day aometimes before bed. Not very strict but knowing me its amazing I stick with it at all. I'm always trying to reduce the pills to only what's important but everything seems important for one reason or another. I wish some guru would make me a list and say take these and you don't need the rest! Just got a swanson order today so I'm adding 2 more things, pancreatin and graviola. I opened them up right away and took one of each. Then I took a nap for about 4 hours! What's up with that haha.
-
Joellee, what if anything did Dr Wong say about magnesium? Just wondered because like you I am taking transdermal as well as pills. 500mg a day and 8 sprays.
-
HLB, i would research the pancreatin....I am going to ask Wong about this...i am seeing so many negative things about enzymes/pancreatin!
He said magnesium is great!
-
Momine...he did not volunteer a recommendation for coffee enemas...i asked him and he did get excited about them saying 2 a day is awesome for cleaning the liver/gall bladder for cancer patients....he is very good friends with Dr. Gonzalez, but feels he is way too strict.
-
Lily, i know he may do phone consults...please email him!
-
Do you make the coffee like normal for drinking and then just do the enema? I have a few fleets I can just dump them and put the coffee in!
-
Joellellee, Thanks for the report of your visit to Dr Wong and his information. It sounds very encouraging and I wish you the best. I am looking for a new 'alternative' doctor. Even though I am in Canada and pretty well broke, I will consider going to him. I was seeing a naturopath but he is now in jail for tax evasion (can you believe it, what next?) Can you give me an idea of how much it costs to see Dr Wong?
-
There are great Utubes on coffee enemas...I haven't attempted one yet! LOL
Wong is $350 for the visit and the herbs are $150 every two weeks...
-
STILL feeling awesome after taking the herbs for a week! I am AMAZED at the complete disappearance of my Rosacea since day 2! This means these herbs are pretty darn powerful, I feel, since NOTHING could ever clear up my face...I am astounded and excited!
-
I asked Dr. Wong about enzymes/pancreatic and if I needed to still take Dim since everything cost so much money...he said I don't need to take Dim or enzymes or much else for that matter, except for ECGC and curcumin....he said he uses upwards of 30 different herbs in my formula, so no need to spend huge money on anything else..yay!
-
Joellelee,
Please discuss with Dr. Wong, would he suggest taking turkey tail mushroom capsules, I heard a lot of good comments from Chinese patients, my onc said that mushroom is good for cancer patients, thank you -
Joellelee, again thank you for sharing your journey with us. I so enjoy gaining knowledge and understanding of yet another way to approach BC. I was wondering if being on Dr. Wong's program also allows you to continue to take hormone blocking drugs such as Femara? If you don't know the answer that's fine. Thank you!
-
Thank you Joellee! I need to look into ecgc.
-
He was very enthusiastic about turkey tail et al mushrooms...it was a definite yes from him.
I am not sure about the other hormone blocking drugs...
-
Well...My fears of gaining weight on TAMWO are for naught...I have lost 7 pounds since starting the herbal tamoxifen...woohoo!
-
Wow well done and you have done DIEP too......I wonder if he can send it to Spain.....
-
Yes! I had the DIEP and am thrilled with flat tummy and now weight loss...hopefully, this means my hormones are balancing out? I did not want to take out my ovaries etc....I am not sure if he would ship without a personal eval?
-
Tamoxifen herbal is what I need! Thanks for sharing!
