Well, when my onc got the results from my u/s, he decided he wanted me to have a consult with the b/s. and everyone is still saying it is "just to be sure" so, that is what I will choose to believe at this point! But, prayers are welcomed....

ok, b/s feels there is nothing to worry about.  What i am feeling appear to be cysts, and they are not attached to either the chest wall or skin, which is the only two places i could have breast cancer. I will have another u/s in 3 months.

Gin52, what a rollercoaster you've been on! Hopefully you can relax a little now.

    Hello Nordy!

How do they know the nodes were negative post chemo.

I am at that stage, post cemo, and decided against radiation.

    best,

    Danana

Hi Danana --- I never check in here so it is funny that your post was so recent!!!

They removed 12 nodes at my surgery and ran pathology on all of them ===  they all came back negative. There were a minimum of 2 positive that were identified on diagnosis with PET and with US. So that is how they know... And the fact that I had a huge lump under my arm at diagnosis, but by the time chemo was done, there was nothing palpable - which I know is not a confirmation, but between that and the path report - my chemo worked well.

First time on in awhile....  Hope everyone is doing well.  Been a year since my last u/s and at the last one they still think the spots are oil filled cysts.  However....there is now a spot between those that my onc says feels like thickened skin, and if it changes, he wants me to have it biopsied right away....I HATE when they say things like that!! Taking all my will power not to feel of it every day. <Sigh>  Does this uncertainty ever stop?
