My fiancé diagnosed with Infiltrated Ductal Carcinoma grade 3. Tumor has been removed,size 55mm. She diagnosed as triple negetive. She is 24.  Result from CT scan & other tests(after tumor removal) doesn't show cancer presence. Does she need chemo? Or radiotherapy will be enough?

raju-me, I am sorry that your fiancee has to deal with this at such a young age. None of us here are doctors, so our opinions are just that - opinions. but if I'm reading the size of her invasive tumor correctly - 55 mm or 5.5 cm - that plus her triple negative status would probably bring a recommendation for chemo.

Definitely chemo. Size, grade , hormonr status and age are ALL factors considered in taking chemo and THAT was a large tumor. I am so terribly sorry you and her are facing this disease, especially at such a young age. but she has you as her support and am glad you are there for her. Keep faith!
