Crazy Horse Memorial Volks March

Anyone doing the Crrazy Horse Memorial Volks March June 1 & 2 at the Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer, SD?  I/We were planning on beoing there tomorrow morn but our weather is not too nice now (rain/flooding) so will be going on Sunday.

The first weekend of June, the Volks March is done there which is the only time of the year that the general public can get up on the carving.  It's a somewhat strengeous 10k from the parking lot back to the parking lot.  The first part goes through the 'woods' to the arm and then back down on a service road.  You can see the Memorial at www.crazyhorsememorial.org.

    Survived the Crazy Horse Memorial Volks March! today  (Fantastoic weather)    Did it before  - Knew I would.  Will post more tomorrow.  Have lots of pictures on my cell but don't know how to post (I have to work tomorrow so will get boss to do them for me)  

    After the last one I was advised to use a hiking stick for LE arm - Hubby got me one - long story short for now -  Mr. Negative' wound up with one for himself also and thinks they're great..
