I can't see why it would case any problems, but of course, get it cleared with your doctor first.

I agree with Ruth. Love your pun ( vein/vain). How appropriate during chemo!

Alibeths,  I asked my onc about this. At the time it was summer in Australia so I get where you are coming from !

There are organic spray tans you can get here, along with the standard form of spray tan.  My onc said thatit shouldn't be a problem.

I then asked about the Palmer's body bronze. It is a gradual self tanning lotion. I ended up using this as I have lots of times in the passed and liked the colour as you manage it with the applications you apply.

I did not react to the ingredients in that whilst on chemo.

I seriously need a tan! I need an option in South Florida! I can't do natural sunbathing due to lymphedema and lots of moles. I only get a small amount to soak up the vitamin D. It always makes me feel so good though!

Hi There, just my opinion, but I'd be careful with spray tanning. When you're in the booth you have to breathe even though they tell you to hold your breath while the spray comes out and you do take a big breather and hold it.  When its done you can breathe again, but the spray and particles are still in the air. Its really very heavy in the air.  There is no way in my mind its not getting in lungs and in your sinus.  Just something to consider. I did it once and when I realized I was breathing in the spray that lingers heavily in the air after the mist finishes covering you, I never went back again. I didnt like the idea of that junk being in my lungs.  I watched my poor Father die from lung problems and that possibility that I was breathing in the junk in the air just scared me.
