Dear Deb,
I am so very sorry for your loss and all that you have been through.
Gentle hugs....♥

Hi K !!
Missed you!
-
((((((Deb))))))
Get ready for the heat...
some storms last night - we had a crash of thunder so loud it set a car horn off on our street. I jumped up and grabbed my keys and asked DD where hers were so I could run to the front door and see if it was one of our cars. DD saw that none of the lights on our cars were flashing, so it wasn't ours... And I think it knocked a decroation off my wall. DS said this morning,"Why is that on the floor?" And I'm like - what? And then I saw my poor little decoration on the floor. It was a little broken (dried flower type thing), but I think it still looks okay... I actually hang it upside down. it's supposed to go the other way, but I think it looks better my way. Anyone who comes here and sees it must think I'm stupid for hanging it that way...lol.
-
I'm ready Chris....
and you can hang it anyway your heaRT DESIRES IT'S YOUR HOUSE

It is supposed to be over 100 this weekend. We told DS we'd come over and help him paint. I hope he plans on having the AC on!

I finally planted my flat of flowers I received from my DD for Mother's Day. I never procrastinate.... never....
Have multiple pots on my porch & a row of flowers along the walkway to my side door. I love to sit on the porch which faces north where I only see trees & flowers.
We are having the most wonderful asparagus from our large patch out back. We used to pick along the road near our house when we first built here many, many moons ago - but having to contend with others that did the same thing, we planted our own & have never regretted it.
Chris, I would just hate that OTJ training. I can't imagine having to do that & being made to feel as if you should already know that stuff. I feel for ya. I remember my very first job was at a Dog 'n Suds (McDonald's type eatery) (that I had to walk to because I didn't have a car & my Mom wouldn't drive me), I had to learn on the job. The awful Boss thought I should know how to do everything even though I had told him I didn't know how to do anything there. I was just out of high school. He made me feel like shit every single day - I hated, hated, hated that. I messed up something once after I'd been there about 2.5 months & he told me not to come in the next day or the rest of the week for that matter & I told him, "I wouldn't be coming back at all. I quit!!" Man, that felt GOOD! (but then I had to go home & tell my Dad I didn't have a job!)
Sandy, when will you have the results from the swallow test? I love Macy's, I so need to buy something there & use my credit card. Everytime I get near one I don't have time to shop. Or have the money!
Linda, enjoy the beach!
Hi Joan & ducky!
(( Deb )), thinking of you...... such a beautiful picture you posted on FB.

My asparagus has stopped producing the tender spears since the heat is on. I cut them when they are there but I bought a bundle two days ago. For the past two nights I have grilled it, but taken a few spears for each of us and wrapped them with prosciutto before grilling them. Oh so yummy!
-
Yay Shiela.....hope you had a wonderful time....just window shopping
Meece you and your green thumb...
it is really hot here in the 90's...turned the air on...can't breathe.....
they called and said it was a thyroid issue....I was having issues swallowing especially pills, they said that I need to take them with more liquid and with applesauce, so glad there is nothing there....love my week off!!
hope everyone is safe and cool!!

I will take the heat over tornado, flood, or hurricane seasons. It is supposed to be over 100 today. I spent yesterday outdoors cleaning up after some fish bred and it felt smotheringly hot. I was surprised to see it only reached 90.
We are helping paint at DS3s this morning and heading to a birthday party for DS2s soon to be children this afternoon. Some where in there I need to clean up another fish spawning from last night. Luckily that was the last one and things can go back to normal. We had five females to spawn this week. At least we know that there won't be a spawn in our main pond and have to try to clean THAT up!
-
For those of you that know our Torigirl she lives in Oklahoma and was missing for about a month.
Well I found her safe and sound. She was with the 2010 sistas.
Please remember her in your prayers cause its real fugly there...
huggs to everyone
