Just wondering why I have peach fuzz on my face?

4 years out of any treatment and now I am growing peach fuzz on my face!  Does this mean my hormones have changed somehow. I also have a new lump right on the nipple.  I was supposed to get testing done months agoi, but I am just fed up with chemo and monoclonal, and rads and the whole shubang. i am finally getting my energy and good mood back and I don't want to have to do chemo again.  Just wondering though if anyone has peach fuzz wayyy after slash, crash and burn/

    Ouch! I feel for you. I know when my hair grew back post chemo, I was shocked to find peach fuzz all over my face. Mine seems to have calmed down and is just my normal facial dusting of hairs.  Unfortunately, mine was noticed at the same time that my hair all over started growing back. My niece told me it was just that I wasn't used to seeing it there after being bald all over for so many months. It was peach fuzz and a lot heavier than my facial hair was before, but as I say it thinned or calmed or whatever and is back to normal. It really was frightening for me, so I can relate and feel for you. I hope that yours is a similar occurrence.

    Hi cmharris59:  thanks for replying I fianlly found this post thanks to the moderators helping me find it.

    I found out it could polycystic ovarian syndrome.  I think I will just put up with it. the fuzz was a shock because I just noticed it and my treatment ended in 2010.  But here's a chuckle, after my hair grew back and my bangs got long I thought I would try a little fringe of bangs, so I cut my bangs (wet hair) and when my hair dried the fringe stood straight up, I looked darn weird for a while.  Chemo really changed my hair structure.  I also have two cow licks now one on each side of the front of my head.  I told my grand daughter they were angel kisses.  Amazing how the young ones are so honest when they notice changes.  Have a good day and sorry for the late reply. snowy
