SHAKIRA's reaction was priceless and real......
For a moment i thought she was gonna faint..........
-
Hi Voice-ers...
I am watching and lurking here...
I really enjoyed the top 8 performances in the first hour...I hadn't watched in awhile and most have really come a long way.
Love Danielle...her solo (from the top 8) was perfect for her...Amber really has it together....Still watching... -
Hey Joan...missed you....♥
My choices were right
-
You got it sheila, I couldn't be happier, Shakira was over the moon happy, so beautiful to see. Loved the younger Swon's reaction, he was so happy he looked like a kid on Christmas morning, is that Zack? More good news - one of the women in the WNY group that I am a part of, got benign findings on a biopsy today, just found out, YIPPEE.
-
Karen...that is good news...about your friend
It was a nice night.....everybody so pleasant on the show...almost makes me watch it again
-
Hey everyone I watched the recap show tonight... missed it last night! I actually forgot it was on I've been so very sick
ugh!! So happy all of Team Blake made it through, but I gotta say I love Danielle and the Swan Brothers. My hubs watched tonight also and my daughter... both were blown away by the Swan Brothers. I made the statement whether or not they win the Voice someone will sign them. My daughter agreed. She said "family groups are really big right now" and she would be right, they are!! Not sure who will will this thing but I do know for the last few weeks that Danielle has had her song in the top 10 on itunes, last week it was #1 and this week it was #10.
-
I'm not watching anymore...
Not my two picks to go home, but poor Judith (an accomplihed singer) did sabotage herself with her own song choice.
I found Sarah's voice more interesting than Michelle's. Michelle's voice is not really that different for an "indie" artist.
O.K., I lied and will watch more...
Because Danielle and the Swons are entertaining (and I am not even much of a country fan.)
The Swons made me figure out that I DO like Sasha's voice when she adds her tones in a harmony, but I have not liked her solos that much. Now for Amber...I did say I liked "Skyfall" but she was definitely the weakest in the group sing tonight. I'm still waiting for these two to be cut, but they seem to have some loyal voters out there.
Finally, I'll watch because in a bizarre twist of t.v. fate, somehow Karina Iglesias gets invited back and WINS!
-
E-what an optomist You are!!! I'd love Karina to come back also. I think Sarah did herself in by going all loud & angst-y on "Someone that I used to know". Did any else see weird little Charlie on AI do that song? He was fabulous-Sarah not so much. I'm not surprised about who went home; America doesn't reward true talent, but perfers fluff & stuff!
(Altho I do like the Swon Brothers, Dannielle, and Michelle)
-
I agree Eph... I remember Charlie from AI doing that song and he was so much better than Sarah! I may have been in the minority but I really liked Charlie and thought he could sing. If he had been given half a chance to grow as an artist and worked with (really worked with and guided) he could have been awesome on AI and perhaps even made it to top 5.

Phone lines are jammed and the website crashed due to so many donations, but you can still text REBUILD to 52000 to donate $10 from your mobile phone. - Team BS
-
Unbelieveable, so many caring people in this country. You could see that Blake was touched by Usher being there, they seem to have formed a bond of respect and friendship.
-
Yes Karen...definetely there is a bond
When Usher's ex wife's son was severely injured he sent his plane to transport the little boy who died later
-
Good men find each other. I wish it was longer, there I go being greedy. Can't believe the site crashed!
-
I wish it was longer........
-

-
-
I know Sheila I can't wait!!! While I'm at it... Would everyone say a little prayer for my mom she goes to the hospital in the morning to have her knee replacement surgery. Thanks
-
Hi all, sheila thanks for the info, just got back from a weekend away, great news that The Voice is going to be on longer!! Wasn't my favorite Holly performance, I hope they don't stick her with only belting songs, she can do it and looks comfortable but she seems to fit better with country pop. Michelle did a nice song, her voice is not as strong as the other contestants but she showed her work ehic.
-
No one here yet?, loved the Swon Brother's performance, they do have a really unique sound and just keep getting better.
-
I'm going to join in a little later as i am watching the series finale of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" LOL! I started watching 5 seasons ago when it came on with my daughter Chelsey (she was 17 and in high school and is now 22 and a mom)... time sure does fly. Can't believe it's going off Boo!!! All the really good shows do.
-
Hi Renee, will see you later, I know it is so sad when a favorite show goes off the air, and time does fly by when you measure the ages of your children. I thought Sasha did a fine job of showing her emotions but I don't like the screaming, could have toned it down a notch and gotten a better effect. Anxious to see what Blake chooses for Danielle.
-
Just beautiful, she scarcely looks like she is trying, as Blake said, a star is being born. No straining for notes, Danielle is just pure talent.
-
The Swon Brothers are pure country and show their love for the genre, they just look like they are having so much fun. If they don't win, they will have recording contracts waiting for them as well as Danielle. Amber, the screaming again for her, hadn't seen it before from her and did not enjoy it.
-
Holly's second song redeemed her, I loved her choice of songs. She can belt it out without straining and really tells the story of her songs. No sheila tonight? No Renee yet either.
-
WHEW Michelle will be back next week!!
-
Amber just sang a favorite of mine, and she did it beautifully, I think it will be between her and Holly for the vote.
-
Double WHEW for Danielle, that last part was just a killer!! She'll be back.
-
thank God BCO is fixed..it was off for the longest time.......
Hi Karen
Hi Renee....Sending good thoughts to your mother...hugs
Swon Brother's second song was really good made me all happy
Danielle is my winner either way..i like that girl she has a good voice, personality and sweetness
Again Holly doesn't do it for me
Amber i like
-
Hey sheila, wondered where you were, glad to see you. Danielle is my choice also, it's just amazing to me to think that at age 16, she is only going to get better. Sasha, again with the growling, but it was quite the stage performance. The Swon Brothers, just like Danielle, just make me feel good and happy. Going to try to vote on-line, I found the site eventually last week, if not I have the phone numbers. It was so wierd to be posting to myself!!
