Would you take Botox after a c diagnosis?

I suffer from a near lifetime of migraines; now, for over 15 years chronic, intractable and extremely disabling as migraine abortive meds barely work once a migraine starts. Tons of treatments have been tried at a prestigious hospital with a migraine specialist as well as outside opinions.

My migraine specialist has given me Botox in the past for hopeful migraine prevention. We've tried it at about 3 times in several years with no success; in fact, it seemed to worsen them, although it was hard to tell.

I have not had Botox since my BC dx in March 2010. I've been assured there is no problem taking it with a BC history or while on an AI, but how do they really know? Can't imagine there are specific studies in those areas.

Would you risk it, especially given the past failure of Botox? I wouldn't even consider it, but even multiple trials of acupuncture during different periods over the last 10 years have failed, as have over 15 years of simple to complex preventive medication trials.

Would you take Botox with a history of BC?

I used Botox for a couple of years thinking it would help my migraines. Mainly my forehead, along the scalp line and above my eyebrows. Don't think it made much of a difference with my headaches. Sure did smooth out my forehead lines and lifted my eyes though. I have not had any since my diagnosis.

I have used Botox once since being diagnosed with BC.  My MO said it was okay and so did the neurologist who administers it.  I get it for cervical dystonia which causes migraines and it does help.
