Life really DOES go on!
I just wanted to post and give the newbies a pep talk. Right now, you don't look into the future too far and G-d forbid you plan something longer range than one year, right? Well, here ya go. 7 years ago I was a single mom of an 8 year old boy, no college degree and a job/boss I hated with a passion. Then I was diagnosed with cancer. Well, kiss job hunting goodbye and no more planning for the future for me. Well, here I am 7 years later. My son is 15 and taller than me (which means he's TALL as I'm 5'10"), I have a job/boss that I love, and ...taDA! I am a college graduate as of May 18th (Magna Cum Laude, I might add...take that chemobrain). LIFE IS AWESOME..don't lose hope!
