I am asking everyone to say a special prayer and maybe light a candle for my friend, Paula, She is 32 yo and pregnant, with a brain tumor. Her tumor is operable, at the base of her spine, but is growing now and a drift in her face has become apparant. They are going to tale the baby by c-section this Friday at 35 weeks, at 6:30am. Her operation will follow on July 12. She knows this is all in God's hands, but is asking for prayers.
Thank you.
Thank you.

That is so heart breaking Christine. She is in my prayers; she and her baby. And I know that you will be there for her in every way that you can. The candle is lit.

Paula is recovering from her brain surgery at home. The tumor was benign!!! Juanpablo is now over 6lbs and thriving. This is a letter from Jaime, her husband, posted on their webpage. I am sure he would like to thank all of you for continued prayers, they work!
It is difficult to express the gratitude we feel for being blessed with such good family and friends. The displays of affaction and support are overwhelming. We have revceived all kinds of prayers: children praying daily, families visiting our Lady of Guadalupe, the Miraculose Medal Chapel, Medjugorie, the Vatican and John Paul II's tomb, Shrines in Germany, offering the Rosary, hours of adoration, daily masses, notes on the wailing wall, prayers from all denominations, jewish, catholic, lutheran, among others.
Paula has received calls from people she does not even know, but have gone through similar circumstances and want to ecourage her.
We are so blessed and thankful for such demonstrations. We will eventually thank personally each and every one of you.
However, as of right now, I believe this will be the best way to keep you posted on the latest developments. I will try to update the information here as much as possible.
We are well aware that we are in God's hands, and whatever He sends us is for good. We are hoping that in six months this will only be a memory, and we will be collecting many fruits of these sufferings.
Thank you very much for your prayers and concerns. We owe to you to keep you posted, and I will do my best.
