    Graciej,

What did the surgeon say?    I can't even imagine how terrible this was for you.

I had blisters but they were a reaction to the adhesive in the tape used.

Auntie, I had the blisters from the steristrips too, but she has a tract that has opened up and is draining in the tissue.  This is usually as a result of an infection, and apparently they are becoming more common with the more antibiotic-resistant bugs that go around these days.  I know it must be terribly uncomfortable.

Gracie, how are they treating your fistula?

    Gracie,

A fistula is usually the result of an open incision or one which has not completely healed from the inside out.  The blisters are a little confounding.

Are you on any meds, such as antibiotics which could be giving you an adverse reaction.

In any case a fistula is something which must be address medically and properly.  Please take heed and see your surgeon.
