I will Veggy.
-
Dear Lord, Please bring a calm over Veggy and hold her in your HUGE rocking chair. Please tell her what you always Tell me, "whatever the news is, it will be ok, I'm walking by your side.." AMEN!
-
I think we're all holding our breath, crossing everything, and praying!
-
I tried calling my family doctor. I had the results sent to him. Guess what?
His office is closed today!
Edited...
Oncologist office called to confirm Wednesday's appt. I asked for results. She forwarded me to nurse. Had to leave message. Still waiting.
Edited again... Onc office called but for wrong doctor. Message relayed to my onc. Ready to cry and stomach ready to heave.
Still waiting. -
Veggy - At least they are in the office today. Holding you close in prayer. Have thread open and refreshing it. Feel the Lord's arms around you and eveyone else's.
-
Anchors down here for you, WHY do doctors do this, do they not realise just HOW STRESSFUL this is.......all oncologists should be made to walk in our shoes for a week and see what its like
-
Lily, I understand that one - on the other hand (not condoning what the do) How many people do the have to call today with the same type issues. My ONC is so busy - sometimes calls don't get back to me until late afternoon early evening.
-
Vegyy, take deep slow breaths in and out to help you calm down. I'm saying my prayers for you that you get your results soon.
-
Here is another calming picture for you Veggy..edit - Walk on those clouds:
-
Its after $ and I have heard nothing.
-
Are they the kind of office that returns calls after patients gone? Like other thread, call 'em again.
-
I just did and left a message. I sounded kind of aggravated. I tried to convince myself that if it was bad , they would have called. They never call with good news. So far this doctor has been wonderful. She has always called back.
-
Still keeping fingers/toes crossed. Well, if they never call with good news is that good news?
-
Monday I WILL get the results. I am fit to be tied.
-
I am swearing for you here......can you get someone to call for you and leave message saying how stressed you are?
-
Granny I found a flower that's not pink tonight - Just for you!!! HUGGGGSSSSSS!
And this one!!!
-
Pretty flowers, perfect for a sluggett to smudge its way up the stem for a drink of sweet water. Oh LILLY I hope some words I put a few pages back just for you helps, but in the end, I really liked what I believe it was Veggy said one day when Fuzzy was off on another one of her air balloon trips, "Okay, where is the FUZZINATOR???" SO hilarious. Fuzzarita is getting her sheet together, she DID lose her mother after all, and besides, she's always done this, wandered off smelling flowers and getting lost in nature's slug-fests. I remmeber a story about a Native American genius who worked in the cosmology astronomical laboratory where they stare at stars, and once in a while, he'd just disappear. He liked going back to the Res where his people know nothing of time, just that things take as long as they take.
Thought for the day: How much slugger can a slug slug when he feels like sluggering some spoopering in a slugjub that day? Answer: I surely do not know. Love to my sisters, GG

I never said that. I wish I did. I miss fuzzy too.
-
Fuzzy please come back we all think of you....hope u r ok
-
Well. The house is listed. http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/7911-Baltimore-St-E_Baltimore_MD_21224_M63886-74236?source=web
I busted my butt to get it in shape, and it looks good for now. Now . . . how do I keep it looking like this???
-
Cute house, Dune. Just right for a young couple. Hope it sells right away (less time to have to keep it like that).
-
I couldn't tell which house was yours, but assuming it's the first one, you shouldn't have any trouble unloading it. As long as your price is better than the comparables in the area, assuming you know where to go to get them. Trulia is a very helpful site in that regard, not just list price, but what houses in the area have sold for. You asked how you can keep it that way... don't live in it. SMILE. I mean, you gotta live with your Mom for a while anyhow, so... just go in to the sale house a couple times a week, put fresh flowers, go ahead and change out the shower curtain, just this and that to keep improving it.
LADIES & GENTS: I did find the original reference to "the Fuzzinator," and here she be:

"Dogeyed, can you just imagine how much more could be accomplished at work without all the childish behavior and corp bullsh*t? The theme of most of my complaints with work are those very new to the workplace who have much maturing ahead of them. Courses with titles such as "Utilizing Common Sense to Navigate the Real World" should be added to college curriculums.
"Hugs all around and TGIF!
"Nancy"
YES, PEOPLE, IT WAS NancyNow who declared our Fuzzy was a Fuzzinator, and I was just SO struck by it, it was well before we began to rumple her romperette name around to suit ourselves. Over a year ago she declared our Missy Fuzzy was missing, as is her custom, to leave us for good reason and then return. We shall see! GG

Hey Dunes - you sound in a really good place........great to read, could not see which house was yours but it sounds great and a de-clutter surely helps......
I have made a big step, have made an appointment to see a plastic surgeon to find out if reconstruction is actually possible.......very scary as really think I will fall apart if told there is no hope of a successful recon.......I so hate my own body and no matter how much I rty adn love it I can´t - about a year before I was diagnosed I saw pictures of women like me (well their scars were neater) and remember saying I could never cope like that and how brave they were, all the usual stuff people say before diagnosis, and how awful it was, never dreaming it would be me one day.......
-
Lily, don't give up! I heard a different story every time I went to the PS. With him (the second PS) finally saying that he didn't feel comfortable "fixing" me. I was so disappointed and felt I just couldn't take one more setback. After a good, hard cry, I put on a new pair of big girl panties and found new (better) surgeon and she had no problem doing surgery and studied and tested to determine which type would give me the best results. I am scheduled for surgery in just a couple weeks. You WILL get through this!
-
Veggy, in your pocket all day today...... X x
-
Thanks naddine, i am lining up at least four appointments with different PS's, good luck for yours
-
Thanks Lily!
-
Good morning Chirpers!!! Love ya - got to get back to work. Here are my morning visitors out my office window.
