"I who have nothing" beautiful song.....she delivered
i remember Jordin Spark singing this song .......
-
hi Shelia! Kree was great on the third. I like them both, could listen to both of them on the radio.
-
hmmm...unlike many of you I loved this season, and I liked the judges, but this final was UNDERWHELMING, not a single uptempo song. The pace of the show was just ODD
-
Cookie I agree with you about the songs....There were no variety even though they were very soulful

Only sorry to see Keith go, the rest will not be missed. This was the worst year for Idol, I wonder if it can recover?
-
I just watch. I don't vote. May the best girl singer win, and she will.
-
I have been a huge Idol fan in the past but this season, for the first time I am not voting at all.
A sad ginger

Missed tonight due to being away overnight...am hoping to get home thursday in time to watch my DVR of wednesday and then the results live.
I liked this season although the guys were awful...
I do not see how Ai can go on with all judges leaving. the show still works and it is too bad that nobody can hold it together. they will have to get some huge names to attract viewers next season.
-
I actually watched the finale' Sheila, but I had my granddaughter so I was unable to chat with all of you. Ginger I was underwhelmed with this season as well, especially after they sent Janelle home... she was my favorite! She should have been there till the end IMO! The 2 in the finale are very good... won't go to their concerts or buy their cd's so I have not voted anymore this season. I've just watched. My hubby said he heard on the local country radio station here in B'ham that Keith Urban gave an interview yesterday and said he was staying on Idol... He is the only judge staying. I guess we will see. I really like Keith and I thought he gave a lot of constructive criticism. He really was very good! He also drew in a lot of people that love country music. But Nicki pushed away a lot of people that would have watched even though they loved Keith. I'm not sure what they can do to revamp this show. But I know some of the people they were looking at and tossing their names around last year in the media are not the ones that need to be judging this show either. Adam Lambert is a very good singer and performer, however, he has not been in the music business long enough to be a judge of others... that is what everyone was shouting on websites last year anyway. (that is not my opinion or words just for the record)
As for what I thought of the finale' I really like Kree's songs and a couple of Candace's as well. I agree it was a very lack luster night with no uptempo songs being performed. It was just kinda dull! One can only hope that when their cd's are released they have a little more upbeat music on them. I think that is what kinda happened to Lauren's 1st cd. She had some good songs on there but there was a lot of slower songs, she tried to keep it geared to younger kids and clean (ok with that) musically the songs chosen were not the best in the world though I love most of them... But hey, I'm a die hard Lauren fan! I think if she had gone a little edgier with her music choices and kept more of them uptempo since she is young country her 1st cd could have gone platinum. But that's how you live and learn.

I'm here, is the finale always 2 hours?, I was hoping for a 1 hour wait.
-
2 hours and 8 minutes
Hi Karen...
-
hellooooo
I am just finishing up watching the DVR from last night, which I missed.
I thought Kree's songs were well executed but very similar. I thought her single was a country/pop crossover which works well. I thought Candace's single was good for her, but not sure about the broad appeal.Candace really closed it down with her last song.
So, I will fast forward and catch up to the live show... -
Hi Joan.....
-
I always loved MC's older songs ♥
-
Was she really singing or lip syncing, oh those hand movements!
-
It was on FB...she was lip syncing......i was just listenint not watching so didn't notice it.........
-
Hi I'm here and getting a late start, but let me say I loved!!!!! Janelle and the Band Perry's I'm Done!!! Whoa!!!
-
Janielle was so fine, they really let her down by not using the save. She will be a star, can tell by how she sang and performed with The Band Perry. Love KU. Jennifer Hudson was fine!
-

-
Good morning Julz....
-
YAY Kree, she really got into singing that with Keith, Hi julz, nice to see you, yes, that is what has been missing all season, need those upbeat songs, too many ballads.
-
Kree and Keith and Randy... Love!!!
-
Janelle and Kree with Aretha, dynomite!!!!
-
BRAVO to the GIRLS
they did a wonderful job with Aretha........
-
good show so far...I love the 5 girls together and some of their group numbers were the highlights of the season for me...what on EARTH was Amber wearing to sing with Aretha.
Can we just keep them all together like the new American Spice Girls?
(I will say Amber looks even more impossibly beautiful than ever, if she finds the right songs I think she will do well.)
I really don't care who wins that much! I do think the right two are there tho.
-
JLo love her song and her performance!
