I've been diaganosed with ER+ HER2neg invasive tubal breast cancer with dcis I've had a lumpectomy, the breast tissue around the 2cm tumor is negative and lymph knod is negative as well; however my score for the  oncotype clinical testing is 17... not sure to do chemo as well, radiation and hormone therapy will be done after.

Any suggestions would be great!!!!

    What is your stage and grade? Any lymphovascular invasion?

    Ask for the report that comes with your oncotype result.

    It includes charts that I found very helpful.There is a forum for more unsusual cancers, I would check there too.

    I would ask the oncologist why they feel chemo would be beneficial to you with a low RS. They may see something.

    the doc never suggested she just said that she would support my decision--the nurse and the doc both said doing chemo may not benefit me..but i'm one of those what if girls---what if the cancer came back and i didn't do chemo

    here is how I broke it down

    Chance cancer comes back w/o chemo 14%

    Chance with chemo 10-12%

    so if it comes back, the chance is as high as 6 out of 7 that chemo would not have changed my outcome.

    I am not telling you what to do, I do live with more fear because of my choice.
