Bernie u are so right, even our furbabies know about people. I never thought about it, but I don't like clowns, mimes or masks of any kind--I guess that's why. u can't see them for what they are.

Oh Cyn I had so much fun giving birth all we did was laugh in the delivery room, whe I was in labor I called the nurse and said Ok I'm ready and she said no u'r not there won't be laughing whe u'r ready and I said just check me out I know I'm rwady, she was bitchy and she said OK like a bitch and the she said OH I'll call the Dr. and when I was in delivery I had to go natural cuz no one paid much attention to me---I gained 20lbs. and I was thin THEN so I wanted a good lunch and I insisted on ordering before I gave birth so it was ready and I qanted a menu--cuz I didn't want some jeloo and a cup of soup. so they called for a menu and people were comig in like nothing saying rhere' no way u want a menu and my Doc. said u don't know this parient just get us a menu--so the nurse read it and I told her what I wanted and she sent it down then we were laughing so hard and there came a baby and whe I got to my room 2 trays of food were waiting dor me. So it was a grewat time for me. LOL

Orange u know I always tell my stupid stories but if I could just type it would be easier to read. How sweet about u'r birthday too.-My mom had my sister on her birthday.

It was so quiet at my house too, well Joey always makes me smile I was on the phone some today but really nothig much I guess everyone is celebrating. but us. hahaha

Dork I'm glad u checked in but she's in Hollywood, I just found out that the molarfocker just in a mobie and he'sder for now--so call everything off and just relax----I had Stella trained goo too, then she left poof--I wonder why????

Good morning, Loungettes!  How is everyone this lovely Monkey Day Morning? 

Juliet--increased medical appointments are no fun at all, unless you are expecting a baby.  No matter what the cause!  Hoorayt for Birad 2!  Happy Dance!  I can't imagine how you felt after the last scan, the first without a biopsy after.  Sorta feels wrong, doesn't it?  A general hospital is NOT a good place for someone with a mental illness, I agree there.  That is a specialty area that needs management by trained specialists. 

Cammy--Feeling abandoned, that's it exactly!  At the end of active treatment we are told to go out and enjoy life, without any clue how to do that again.  Did get over it, though!  Sun is shining, but it's going to be chillier here, too.  Frost warnings up for last night and tonight.  Glad I haven't put anything in the garden yet. 

BBBBernie--kids are remarkably observant and intuitive, and if a child doesn't like someone there is usually a good reason, even it it's only because they have a beard and their face can't be read!  We do train that trust of the "gut instinct" out of children, and it's too bad in many ways.  All the bc treatment decisions I made based on my gut feeling were good ones, the ones I made with my mind and "logic" were bad.  That should tell me something right there. 

ORLA--hope you had a lovely breakfast with your Mom! 

Cammy--What a wonderful way to welcome a new baby into the world!  Funny how medical people simply will not believe that we, who live in these bodies, may just know something about the body we are in! 

ORLA--no excuse for forgetting your Mom's b-day!

2 oz bourbon whiskey

2 dashes grenadine syrup

2 dashes Peychaud® bitters

Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with flamed orange peel, and serve.

I forgot to tell u, my usual eloquent style of speaking---I was making my app't with this new Dr. and now they ask all these questions over the phone and she asked my address and I meant to say unincorporated and I said unexplored area and as I was talking she said--please hold on--what do u mean unexplored area and of course I imeediately said Oh I sound like I'm with the Lewis and Clark expidition. Geeze I can't even talk on a phone, imagine what I'm like in person---much worse than here.

Good morning, Loungettes!  It's a brisk 58 degrees this ayem--INSIDE the house!  Little bit of frost out there this ayem, not a surprise. 

Cammy--I'm sitting here with a shawl and had an extra blanket on the bed last night.  It's chilly.  I refuse to get old.  Sounds like you've got quite a day planned, hope you get it all done!   I actually have no idea what Paychaud is, I just find the recipes on the  'net! 

ORLA--what fun is drinking alone?

Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the Warm Up

5 ounces dark chocolate (140 grams, cut into small pieces)

2 cups full-fat milk

2 cups half-and-half cream

sugar (optional)

1 -2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup Kahlua

1 cup whipping cream, whipped

grated chocolate

Heat the chocolate, milk and half and half cream over medium heat in a heavy saucepan, stirring until the chocolate has melted.

Whisk until the mixture is hot and frothy.

Add in sugar if desired.

Add in the Kahlua and vanilla; continue to whisk until the mixture is hot.

Remove from heat.

Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream.

Garnish with shaved chocolate.

Delicious!
