Sbab waiting for treatment to begin really is a pain.........try to keep your mind busy with doing things that you love or even better still, grab a girlfriend and go out for coffee and a bit of window shopping.......it not only helps pass the time it's also good to be thinking of things other than BC.
Good luck for the 15th!
Love n hugs. Chrissy -
Just hang in there for now, sbab. Your surgery will soon be behind you.
Lisa, wish I'd known about the Windows 8 Blue "fix" earlier. I just looked it up. I'd have waited to buy, but at least I have a resource in DIL. She recently got a new laptop and is a computer whiz, and she'll help me next month when we all go to the beach for a week.

I am sure they will come up with a way to update the current windows 8

I wanted to show you what passed through my yard yesterday. The boulder is 3 feet tall, this is a big bear.
-
whoo, ginger, that would give me the shivers.
At first I couldn't see the bear and I thought what does she mean, that rock passed through her yard? LOL
-
Haha, we have had other bears and bear families but none so large as this guy. I hope he just keeps om traveling. That boulder is off to the side of the mowed area and about 50 feet away from the corner of the deck. My SIL looked it up and in 2010 only 3 people in the US were killed by bears. It is far more dangerous to drive he says. Lol
Love Ginger

Bears scare me...
Butterflies not so much..lol

Lisa, I mentioned to Gma and I'll mention it to you. Your photos would look wonderful on canvas!
-
Or as greeting cards. Beautiful photos that I have looked forward to and been grateful for. Thank you Lisa.
-
thanks..actually, I found some coated canvas photo paper and bought out the store because I knew it would be gone forever. I can use my regular printer and the pictures look like paintings on canvas..I love it..I wish it were not so expensive to have it done...I also make cards for fun and gifts....I am glad you enjoy them..

Just got call from BS. Margins are clean and nodes are negative. Chemo off table, Brachy Therapy (rad) and tomox still on but
so very very grateful. Thank you GOD. Thank you everyone for the support and words of wisdom.

sbab, what great news!!! So happy for you!!! we will be with you for the rest of your tx. So keep hanging in here.
-
Wonderful news, sbab! Just couldn't ask for better!

Yay sbab! That's super news! Clean margins and no chemo.......happy dancing for you.
I'm finally home. I've passed the care of DD to her fiancé. She is healing well but it is going to be sometime before she is back to normal..........I think the nerve damage was more than expected as her leg and foot are still numb. At least the regeneration process can begin and if she's a good girl and does as she's told all will be well.
I'm a tad tired tonight but I guess that's to be expected as well........thank goodness DH had the fire lit and the house toasty warm when I arrived home so I can put my feet up and enjoy.
Hope you all have a great day!
Love n hugs. Chrissy -
You deserve a some "down time" Chrissy...
-
Lisa, the pink rose is lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Chrissy, glad you're back home and also that your DD is doing reasonably well now. I know this surgery will take time to recover from, but it sounds like she has a good start. It's always good to get home, isn't it?
Hope everyone has a good Sunday.

Awe thanks for the rose Lisa, it's beautiful.
Well I slept in this morning and then started dying some cotton tape to cover the frames for the dream catchers. It worked well, I only used coffee, and gave them an aged look. I have completed five catchers and each one different from the other........all in all I'm pleased with them and best of all DD likes them.......lol. I'll take some pics and post them in the morning so you can all see.
Have a great Sunday all!
Love n hugs. Chrissy -
Chrissy I look forward to seeing photos.

Had a lovely day out with a friend who has Mondays off. Went to visit another friend who lives out of Auckland.
The view of the vineyard next door.
A bowl of violas and a late rose.
Had a lovely lunch and a wonder gossip catching up on news of our families.
Big hugs
-

love the photo..
-
Great idea chrissyb,
I have sought peace and tranquility all my life while coping with depression and anxiety long before being diagnosed with bc at 64. This has been a real wake up call to reach out to others and to reflect on my mortality and really focus on living one day - one moment - at a time.
-
suntrek it does that...
