I was wondering if anyone on this board has participated in this PARP trial?
The Study Evaluating Efficacy and Tolerability of Veliparib in Combination With Temozolomide or in Combination With Carboplatin and Paclitaxel Versus Placebo in Subjects With BRCA1 and BRCA2 Mutation and Metastatic Breast Cancer...
We are going to Barnes in St. Louis next week, and this is one of the current trials they have going on that I might be able to participate in. I am wondering if anyone here has participated in this trial, what it involved, how it went, yadda yadda.
one of the things that makes me REALLY nervous is that before one can start the trial, you need to be off any chemo 21 days before starting it ... i think I would be a total basket case over that time period things that things would jsut be growing and progressing out of hand over that time period .... ugh.
PLEASE, anyone with some insight to this trial would be of great help!

Hi, I am looking into doing that trial now, I've just saved a spot for me. I would be doing it at UCLA medical center in Los Angeles.
