Radiation versus Mastectomy

I'm at triple negative who has already had chemotherapy and is scheduled for radiation that will burn a part of my lung and has a 1% chance of causing a blood related cancer - a mastectomy sounds like it would be the safer way to go although I don't think the nerves would be the same and it is losing a body part - can anyone advise on their concerns regarding the danger of radiation to their lungs and if anyone has had their lung burnt?
