OH, but Spookiesmom, maybe his ankles would swell during the long flight to Seattle, and he could um...walk in your stockings -I mean shoes for a bit!

I can understand getting discouraged with night compression garments, daytime too for that matter.  I had a tough time getting used to my night sleeve when I first got it.  And at one point I thought, "this isn't going to work for me".  Many here on the boards were helpful as was my fitter (I know we are not all that lucky).  I am thankful I was able to persevere and come to a place where I feel the sleeve is of benefit to me and I am SO happy to not have to wrap all the time.  I hope that nobody happens onto this thread discouraged and feeling it's not going to work for them without giving it a good try.  Sometimes, it does work.

So true Marple. I just had the misfortune of Murpheys Law I guess. Anything that could go wrong, did.

I'm sure there are people who don't have problems. I hope to be one of them soon!

I hope the same for you too Spookie.  We all know it's not easy.  I remember months, likely years ago, reading about those who claimed "it will get better".  I really didn't believe that it would for me but for the time being, it has.  I hope 'Murphy' takes a hike and you are able to find the help you need and deserve.
