Out of remission

Well I am 36 and have been in remission for 2 years but my body had been telling me otherwise if it wasn't for agonizing pain hospitalizing me then would my oncologist have called me in? Well 5000 scans later I have found out that it has decided to work it's way to my brain which leaves many side effects ..... So tired and seeing things that are not there ..... Also found another. Huge lump on my chest wall, I am trying to stay positive but realistic all at the same time...., I am a mother , wife, daughter and grandmother how does one prepare??!!

Indiafurman1 - so sorry that there have been mets discovered. It is certainly a LOT to think about and process. I don't have experience with brain mets (mine are liver) but there are others that will come along and can answer some of the questions that are plaguing you.

It is hard to stay positive throughout it all and no one can or should expect you to. Of course you have fears and doubts. Has your onc advised of what tx you will have going forward?

Posting on the stage iv thread might bring about some more replies. Please join us over there for support, friendship and sharing. There are some wonderful women/men that know where you are coming from and will be there to help you through it all.

    ((hugs))

@Indiafurman--yes, please join us on the stage IV forum. I don't have brain mets either, but there is a whole thread devoted to that topic, and I bet you can get answers to many questions, plus "moral support".
