Oh, you know, I love a few others too.  Here's the thing...even if Danielle does not makeit to the end, any talent management/record label would have to be absolutely bonkers NOT to snatch her up.  Like Blake said, she is going to be important to the show because it WILL launch a career for her.  (Don't you kindof wonder how good of a singer her dad is?  I do.)

elimar, I'm with you, I think Garrett fell short too.  sheila, watched the link, if that doesn't keep me out of the kitchen nothing will, I am two of her!!

I'm thinking Garrett and Caroline will be leaving because they both have that soft, funky alternative sound and can't compete with the power voices on their teams. Those kind of voices - while interesting and cool - haven't made it to the end.  Dia came in 2nd one year, to a powerhouse singer.

Sheila - I keep thinking the band is too loud, too!  Maybe it doesn't sound that way in the auditorium...

They might have done something B A D with their text numbers tonight.  Justin and Danielle had different text numbers from the other 6 singers.  I don't have Sprint so I don't know if it worked, but it looked like a potential problem.  Yikes!

I have no idea who Blake may not save, but groups are always most at risk. Haha, I don't like country, either, but I said "Wow!" when Danielle opened her mouth. Really, really good.  It was a Pam Tillis song and my son asked if I knew it.  I said, "I've heard of Pam Tillis; we never knew if she was related to Mel Tillis or not", so he pulled out his phone and looked it up and said, yep, she's his daughter.  When I heard the song I recognized it, but I like Danielle's version better, I think.

As for Usher, they raved about Michelle (I didn't think it was all that great) and they critiqued Cathia pretty heavily.  Really hard to say what he'll do.

BTW, I love Usher's coaching techniques!  He's intense and would make me a total wreck.

sheila, thank you for the links, I watched everyone on last night's show.  Sasha was fantastic, but in a different way so was Danielle, so untrained, fourth performance on a stage but pure, captivating, one can only imagine how far she will go.  Blake and Shakira were wonderful, different genre's coming together to make marvelous music, much better than Adam and Usher.

I actually kind of miss Amber because she was unpredictable, she had highs and lows and a lot of range.

I kind of feel like we know what we get with the final three.

On a bright note, I like that Candace is wearing something with a waist! She is TALL!

The downside of Idol and many reality shows is I feel they get less interesting at the end with fewer personalities.

I have been enjoying "Dancing"
