Our timelines are similar.  I have been dealing with significant arm and shoulder pain for several months after radiation.  I finally started physical therapy this week.  The radiation has caused the muscles and and tendons to shrink and shorten, causing all sorts of pain and range-of-motion issues.  I've got really great stretching exercises, and even after just a week I'm already finding a little relief.  I hope you find some relief soon - perhaps PT would help you, too?

I ended Rads August 1, 2012 after a MX and 14 nodes removed in Nov 2011.   My left arm was doing really well after MX - had full range of motion.  After rads, that all changed.  It kept tightening up more and more.

They started a Cancer Survivor Program at a local hospital that is PT related.  My Rad Onc wrote me a script for it.  Only had one treatment and it already has helped.  Ask your Rad Onc to write a script for PT if you have coverage.  They want me to do 12 treatments focused on my arm.

Oh and hi Nancy!   I just realized it was you!!!   We are PT-ing it together!
