So jealous ive forgotten what a long sleep is like......
-
LILY, well, it didn't last long. Here I am, almost 2 a.m., and I cannot go to sleep, didn't even try, just came online when husband was leaning back to sleep. I'll tell you what enough sleep feels like if you don't have a nightmare or a medicine overload, and that's refreshed, good energy, happy about not being up all night, and the darker thoughts are gone. It becomes hard to keep up pleasantries when yourself doesn't sleep enough. I hope you get a few nights relief now and then. And I enjoy your posts, by the way, and your Avatar. Always, GG

Oh no so sorry - i am on a down spiral not eating properly, not taking any meds and feel like i am on way ou, just so worn out all the time.....fell over today and now cant walk properly......feel miserable today......
-
Lily, I'm so sorry you're feeling so down and miserable. Are you taking any kind of antidepressant? Once you're in a hole, you sometimes need a boost to get out (said from experience). When do you see your MO again? I like your avatar also. Is that your cat? (((((HUGS)))))

I had a nice hike today, after which we went to a nearby restaurant for brunch.
-
Hi Dunes, looks like you had a great day for your hike! How many miles did you walk? I definitely need to get back to walking. Haven't seriously done it since I had a nasty case of sciatica due to a herniated disk last summer. Seeing your picture has stirred the urge to get back to it. Thanks for posting.
-
I agree, KATH, I need to get walking again, we have a nice property, and it would be a coup for me to just do that. LILY, oh gosh, dear one, when we get closer to the weekend, surely you could just figure out what pills you want to keep, which ones help you sleep, which ones help any pain you have. When you stop your meds, you get twice the whammy as no sleep. You can go a little crazy in the head, hallucination-type seeing, nothing is worthwhile, and until you can squeeze in a little rest, you'll be stuck. I don't know why I finally went to sleep yesterday, altho I did do some stretching and drank about an inch of wine, helped me finally relax. And sleep was fairly late, 7pm, so when I woke at 4am, I felt normal again. WHEW. I know it IS the new meds keeping me awake too long, so 1/2 twice a day, last one mid-afternoon, should do it. I wish you the same, just rocking off in that boat of dreams, or a quote from an Atlantic Magazine editor ages ago, "Rocking over the dream's tidy waves, we sway in the lee world all night." Always, GG

We have been emailing all morning - looks like IDC stage 1 (from biopsy), ER/PR+ HERs2+ Having surgery wednesday and chemo right after then radiation. She has decided not to do the BRCA test after discussing the issues with her daughter - she sent me the class video she went to and why she decided not to do it. When I was a teen this sister stopped me from suicide - I love her so much...

We have a pal about to pop! LOL She is waiting for more peanuts
Yes Mama with twins:
-
No wonder she wants more peanuts, eating for three!
-
She isn't nearly as large as ours get when they are ready to drop twins. But I do think we have a different variety judging by the tail.
-
Problem is she isn't ready yet she still has at least another month or 2 LOL.
-
Off my meds and had seven hours unbroken sleep with dreams, first time in a year........now i know it is the meds, so what to do?
-
Good morning May 2013

GMA, an absolutely beautiful picture. A calmness came over me when I saw it. Thank you so much for sharing!
-
Thank you Kathindc - I will stay here for you and others - to give you a moment of peace - I feel a need to keep them coming for you all.
-
Thank you Gma, we appreciate our daily "fix" of peace.
