Chrissy - what happened with your daughter regarding the lump she found?
Coming down to Adelaide next weekend for bubby's 1st birthday - won't have a chance to catch up with anyone as we will be 100% focussed on him. Steve thinks the trip will break his heart. It's awful leaving. Maybe we should move

Hope you are all ok - I've been reading but not posting.
-
Just loved the photos Alyson.
Suzie, have a lovely trip. Babies grow so much at that age.
I have just had my Mum, DD and GS visit for 5 days. It was wonderful - four generations. I miss bubby but at least it isn't too far to visit.
-
Sue, she is okay but the doc now wants to see her on a regular six month checkups. This is the second lot she has had and with my history he is not taking any chances.......good for him I say! It also puts my mind at ease a bit, knowing she will definitely be in the right place should anything show up.
Give that gorgeous boy a kiss from me for his birthday and say hi to DD. Haven't heard from her so am thinking all is going well.......hope so anyway.
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to read about Angela. I hate this bloody disease.
I've been off the air with the wedding in Sydney over the weekend and in a workshop all day today for work.
I'm glad she went peacefully with her family around her.
Sending a prayer for her family.

So very, very sad.....
Angela had the same cancer as me & was diagnosed with mets around the same time....it's hit me like a ton of bricks!!!
May she rest in peace xxxxx -
Kazzie, giant hugs to you.
Although I never met Angela it feels like a true friend has been taken from us. It is incredible how much everyone on this site means to me, how all our ups and downs affect me so much.
I really feel devastated about Angela's death and hope the messages from us to her family go some-way to showing she was important in our lives.

Breast Cancer Network is holding a summit in Sydney on 8 - 9th August. Also a Field of Women on the 10th. I don't know details yet but there are grants available. Anyone interested?
-
Kylie where is the summit being held and is there a cost?
Trishxoxo
-
What are the grants for? I'd love to attend but if I'm coming in December my pennies are limited.
-
I am trying to find more info. BCNA site is meant to have applications but I cant find them. I will keep hunting x
-
Thanks Kylie.
-
I can't see anything on their site about the Sydney summit either...
Had the blocked duct in my bottom right eyelid opened and cleaned out this afternoon by my eye specialist. Am coping with a patched sore eye tonight so it's challenging reading :-/
The blocked duct was caused by the chemo or associated drugs!
Jenn
