Today I am grateful to God for forty-one years of marriage and I am grateful that I am not a widow on my anniversary. Yesterday my husband and son were working under our son's truck when it slipped off the jack. By God's protection they both got out alive. My son's right arm was cut to the bone, but he is stitched up and resting at home. My husband has cuts and bruises, but is OK. Thanking the Lord that although I'm not good for much during chemo, I was home and was able to call 911 to get them the help they needed.

I am grateful to the Lord that He brought my granddaughter safely through her lumpectomy surgery today and that she is resting at home. I'm also grateful that my daughter will be able to stay home with her for the first half of the week, and my son-in-law for the rest of it.
