ACE Inhibitors and Recurrance

I have been prescribed an ACE Inhibitor as my EF dropped >10 to 55 and Herceptin has been stopped after only 3 cycles.  Mentioned to MO that I had read AIs can increase recurrance - MO did not know of this.  This study or studies seem to be around April 2011 and discussions on this are old.

Does anyone have any new/updated info or had reassurance from a trusted source that AIs dont cause recurrance?

I have not yet taken my first dose.

    Hi Shikari - I haven't seen anything new lately.  I asked my onc PA about this and she said it was a small study (which it is) and that nothing has been 'proven'.  I think at this point the important thing is to protect your heart during the herceptin treatment.  You might want to ask your question in the thread called Herceptin Heart Attack - the women there are very knowledgeable about herceptin and heart issues.
