So sorry DIL is having such a hard time. Must be so hard having two together so close. It was good that you could help them the way you did.
-
Today will be the second day of her being on her own with two kiddos. Hopefully it will go better. She has 4 more weeks of lifting nothing heavier than the baby in her carrier.
Missed the phone call to be a sub today. Bummed about that!

Short day tomorrow.

Great news, Diane!
Miss my babies! Lala had lost 8 ounces in her first 4 days. At birth her belly was extremely distended. The Dr. Said she was "full of poop" so as she got rid of it it was no surprise she lost so much so quickly, although the pedi Dr was somewhat concerned. So she went back to dr. yesterday, and the little stinker gained another 14 ounces in the past 10 days! I told mama she was producing cream.
-
Meece......surprised the Ped was concerned......out of my 6, they all lost several ounces of weight even before leaving the hospital....even my smallest who was only 7lbs....just 1 gained weight, which surprised the Ped, cause it was over 1/2 lb.........he was born 8lbs 14 ounces, and left the hospital 9lbs 7 ounces.........and that was bottle fed......
-
Glad the baby got rid of all that poop - I hope she is feeling better and DIL is having an easier time now.
-
Linda- any word on your shoulder? (sorry if you said and I missed it)
-
I start PT tomorrow, and got a cortizone shot. Hoping that will help. If not, surgery.
Crappy COLD day. Hope its warmer where you all are!
-
Linda...I hope it helps
Cold...dark...looks like rain......

Sandy, I share your addiction! It's so harmless but fun!
(((((TOL))))))))))
-
Sandy - good luck tomorrow. Impressed that you can watch little ones!
Meece - hope your DIL had a better day - congratulations on new bebe
Linda - yay for the shot, boo for PT. I know some people enjoy it, but I think it's just another appt to keep.
Sheila - so much love for Shelby, you are right. Getting excited about the wedding? You found a dress???
Ducky - don't be so quiet. Need some of your perspective....
Chris - how is the job going now? Are your sinuses better?
Valjean - nice to see you visit us
Joan - your yard must be almost done? We are starting on ours soon but only if the next bid is much, much lower. I about died when I heard the number - it was 3x the cost of our first house. We have a drainage issue and so it needs to be dug out down to the clay.
Deb - I saw the woman who looks like you again! It is quite a strange feeling.
So, the bone infection in my jaw came back four days post-antibiotic completion. Another day today at the doc - it has caused a problem with the adjacent tooth so now I have to see an endodontist on Monday. On new antibiotics till then so hoping for not too much discomfort. And that it doesn't interfere with my Shelby time.
-
Diane....I'm not gonna go through that DRESS thing like last year..just pretending I don't need one....
♥

Hi everyone!
Just TOL here - why is it that I can never get my hair to look as nice as the day I leave the Salon after a cut? It never looks as good!! Strange....
Starting to go through my summer clothes to take stock of what I might need/want, I hate doing it. Isn't there something that if you haven't worn it the year before, you should get rid of it because you probably won't wear it this year?? I always think that I'll drop it off at the Thrift Store immediately but then I don't; then I'm pulling things out of the bag & keeping them.
I have been reading here, just not posting much. A dear friend/neighbor passed away last Friday. She was very close to my DH, more like his Mother than his own Mother. Isn't that amazing that someone you have only known for 35 years can mean more to you than your own flesh & blood?!? She did.....
Sorry for the mish-mash of thoughts. Lots of stuff going on in my head!
-
Birthday today...........I'm how old.....did someone say 78......Holy shit, I'm going back to bed....
-
It nver ends Diane. I hope Mondays appointment goes well.
I am not looking forward to PT!
I LOVE sunglasses too!
