Linda - try uploading to Photobucket, then transfer over to here. You need to drag the corners in so they are not huge, but it works.

I just miss Fuzzy. I know she's going through a hard time right now.

I'm trying to keep busy when I'm not sleeping. I had chemo yesterday and tonight I am going to my support group. My husband has been encouragoing me to walk with him around our property. Some das I can't do 30 feet and other days I do pretty good.

I slept till 10:30 this morning. Chemo does a number on me. I came home fro chemo, took two naps, and fell asleep for the night. Tomorrow I'll be more like myself.

    Have a good day everyone!

I made a short video of Peaches whistling. He was whistling on my knee, but of course, when I got the camera, he got camera shy. Still, with a little prodding, he whistled a little. I'm all sweaty from cutting the grass. Facebook says you will be able to see this video whether or not you have a facebook account, so give it a try.

Peaches is so talented! DIL had a similar bird. Since she was a music major, she tried to teach him tunes. He mastered at least one.

Thanks for the compliments on Peaches. He used to whistle the theme from the Andy Griffith show, but it has been a long time since I played it for him. His melody devolved a bit. LOL (I don't tell him that, though.)

Blood draw in the morning. This one is for the naturopath. Next month I'll have one for the oncologist. I'll be well checked out: alternative and conventional.

I'm sleepy, but damn, I'm hungry. I think food is going to win.

.... or you can call them naturopathic (alternative)  and allopathic (traditional) - and you will have all the bases covered ~

Gma, Thank you for the pictures. Sure wish you could talk to us but I understand, after reading back, that its not possible for you to do that.

Feeling weird for the last few days - I don't think it is because of the new med but my "good arm" has been tingling and real tense in my neck and shoulder.  My DH checked the differences under my arms and said this arm is swollen and tight.. About 4 months ago I had the venous dopler done for some bumps near my bicep and everything came back clear.  My PCP told me to treat it like LE but now I'm not so sure, with these new feeling in my arm.  My sleeve hurts and makes the symptoms worse. Sleep doc has tried me on some new drugs lately, one I had to stop because of severe SEs the other I just started yesterday.. Wish this stuff would be easier for me.  I'm sure this isn't related to the new med though or could it be?  Does LE act this way?  I've been Dx with mild LE in the trunk and upper arm.  BTW - I did post this on an LE page too.

Thank you so much, SHELLSHINE, that meant a lot to me.

CINDYcrog, oh, of course, now I recall all that terribleness with your leg and the clot and everything.  And yah, I agree that all of us got slammed with chemo one way or another. I was leaving after seeing my neuro the other day, and here comes this girl shuffling the exact same way as me (peripheral neuropathy), and she called it some kind of shuffle, I'm not sure what kind, I'm missing a couple tones in my hearing.  But it was hilarious to me that we both walked the same way... and she had a cane.  I've dragged mine out once or twice.  But I think the bundles of diabetic socks will do, plus I got some inserts.

DUNE, hon, that link to Peaches whistling his tunes was just the sweetest thing!!!  Husband had a cockatiel one time, bless his little heart and soul.  I just love it that you spend so much time with him/her/it/flyingobject, and that you've got him a'whistling, too.  So good how well he perches, that gives him some "outdoor" time.  I thought you looked quite sweet yourself, too... but I think he whistles betterr than you!! HAHAHA!!!

Love always, Sister Gail (isn't that a nunnery term?)

Lily, honey, it sounds like yuu are having some post traumatic reactions right now. It's an awful feeling, just awful. I went through a version of it about two months ago and was able to get some help and fight my way back. Try reading the Mods post on: http://www.breastcancer.org/treatment/side_effects/stress_disorder

You can PM me if you like and I will let you know what helped me. Take care.

LG, you would really like our GMF, she's one of a kind.

I told Peaches how all you girls just loved him and his whistling, but mostly him. I wonder how much he understands. He looks at me like he is following every word. He gets quite a lot of time out of the cage generally. He thinks he is human. My other bird, Soebe, hardly ever leaves the cage; but Peaches makes it quite clear he wants out. He paces and hollers and stuff like that.Even when he is sitting quietly, he gets all happy when he sees me get ready to open the cage. Then, of course, he runs to the door of the cage to be ready to hop out onyo my finger.

Gotta work at Red Cross in the morning, so I better get to sleep. Have a good night all.

Dune... Peaches sounds like such a character. Amazing that such a small being has a big personality.

Lymphgirl... Hoping you're feeling better today.

Lily55... Hoping you can find some peace. This journey can be such a roller coaster. Stay in touch and vent if needed to get it out. Lots here to support you.

2nd, have to work this morning but arm was better until I stood up. Think it is nerve - vertibrae related. I have mild arthritis in my neck from an accident as a kid. Must be coming back to haunt me. Pray I make it through the day.

I love you all. It's hard to get encouragement any where else.

PtDreamers, I certainly need an Rx for that one some days!!!! Is it a "prn" drug? or maybe something that should be added to the am pills on a chronic basis????  Laughing

Have had a wonderful 2 weeks with my mom helping me out, she left today and I don't know what I will do without her. But she has promised to come back in a few weeks, so I better get some work accomplished before she comes back ... have some more house organizing to do and some major gardening stuff, and feel so blessed to have some spring weather finally a-happenin'! Just hoping my energy level participates and that new meds don't interrupt this positive attitude I have going right now.

Just have a few minutes to cruise through tonight, don't want to leave anyone out, just sending positive vibes out to all for now.
