What nice days we've had! I hope everyone got a chance to enjoy them (in the east). Once we have a warm day, I want it to stay warm! But it's back to 50's for a few days after some April showers today. But it looks like spring is on it's way!
My days are still going back and forth good and bad. 2 days ago wasn't so good. Yesterday was better. I hope I can break the streak and have 2 good days in a row... Learning stuff every day. And so tired.
Gotta love our UConn women! 8 championships - they played awesome last night! Students gathered at Gampel to watch the game on big screens. The pep band kids who did not go to New Orleans played at Gampel- including DD. Fun times. (Though DD didn't like how crazy the kids were on campus afterward as she was trying to leave to drive home.)
Hope chemo isn't too hard on you today, Sandy.
Hi Chabba - so sorry about your brother. I'm glad the med is helping some. Sorry you are not feeling well - hope you feel better soon.
((((((TOL)))))))
-
Shiela so glad you are going out...even if it is in the backyard, lol...

I have started the job. I still have another training class in a few weeks and another on the job training at another store- then I think I'm done with training. I don't like the training at the other store - they are nice - but kind of not nice - if that makes any sense. My people are really nice. The training people kind of expect you to already know how to do what you are supposed to be being trained to do. Maybe I'm stupid, but I need to actually do it to really learn it. Book learning is a little too abstract for me to totally understand how it works in practice. I'll get there - I hope. Unfortunately, I need to do something a couple times before I have it down. But my people are nice. I hope I can get it down fast enough so their patience doesn't wear thin.
Good luck with your appts today, Sandy.
-
Good for you Chris! It will be second nature soon enough!
-
How is your shoulder, Linda? I hope it isn't hurting too much lately (now that you've stopped shoveling snow) Are you going to have surgery to fix it?
-
I meet with the surgeon a week from Friday, so we'll see. It hurts when I do things, anything, including typing. stinks! Getting chubby since weight lifting is out!
-
Rain...thunder...lightening...
Chris please don't call yourself stupid because you're not .....hugs
Linda is getting chubby....maybe middle age has something to do with it.....
-
I'm sure it does, plus vodka, plus no gym, plus weekend pub crawls.............I need to change my evil ways!
-
You're just taking a break and enjoying life.....Just walk......
-
I can't wait to work out again. This shoulder thing is really bothering me and my waistline. I LOV to work out but can't
I will walk!
-
I made sugar free fat free chocolate and vanilla pudding
i know doesn't have any nutritional value except 2% milk
I need something sweet.......
Keep Walking..............
-
That's a good snack. At least it has protein!
Want to meet m tomorrow for a walk?
-
I was thinking the same think..if we could meet half way???????
-
Chris that is awesome, glad you have started...relax and don't be so hard on yourself...
Linda worried about you and the shoulder thing.
good for you shiela...
am ok just sitting here, not only are the steroids ruining my sleeping but they are making me gaine the weight...whatever, made a slice of pizza hated it, am going to make something...it is hot here was 88 and tomorrow will be 60 and rainy....told the dr. we need to go back on zometa for the bones, lots of pain and he agreed so next week zometa back again...the port clogged so had to get cathflo and then it worked, got home 5pm and drs. appt was @ 1030, was there all day.....asked him if the chemo cumulative and he said it was, which makes sense about why the last time was rad....getting a PET scan next month i think and he did a tumor marker test with the blood today to check and see what is going on.....I am fine tho, just hungry and tired was up from 130 to 430, WTH....sorry...
-
Sandy...i know with the steroids....I gained wait because i was always hungry.......
And like you said I couldn't sleep....3 in the morning i was doing stuff.........
Hugs...♥

-
