If my body were a car...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model.

I've got bumps and dents and scratches
in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull, but that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and
it's especially hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was.
I slip and slide and skid and bump
into things even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed.
My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it -- Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter . . .
Either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires

Now if I could only say that about the first Ford I had!!

And for any Ford employees or those who love Ford ~ the one I have right now is just fine & dandy!!

I have had pretty good luck with my '99 F-150 ext cab I bought new near 7 years ago--it has 97,000 on it & still gets me to Ft Payne n back to visit the elf almost every weekend! I cannot imagine not having a truck now! I made it over 50 years never owning one. The first was an old orange '78 [I think] Chevy S-10 I got shortly after elf n I hooked up...and I had nothing but trouble with it! Sold it eventually & bought a '94 Mustang GT Conv...a really fun car! Then in '99 bought this f-i-n-e F-150 that I have been well pleased with over the years! I'm not promoting Ford over any other brand...and I tried them all out before deciding. Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, GMC, and Ford. I kept returning to the Ford, mostly because I liked the size & feel & just simply how it drove...if that makes any sense! A couple years ago I thought I wanted a Dodge RAM-1500 Hemi...and I tested one out--and while very responsive & new--I just couldn't bear giving up my trusty Ford...so I still have it! And I still love it...
