Trunk LE- Suggestions? What works for you?

I wouldn't order the Genie products by mail, bad experience with the bras a while back, but it was a customer service issue, not a product issue. That and the fact that it looks like you have to buy 3 to get one... Not putting too much stock in the "fit" issues, because, let's face it, what fits "you" great, may not conform to "my" form at all. I suspect we all need to try everything that might work, to see if it will work for us. So I'll volunteer and take one for a test drive.
Yes, I do get mamograms. Just had my one year 2 weeks ago. Didn't seem to cause a flare, but interestigly enough, my surgeon could pick out spots on the mamogram that she believes are pockets of LE fluid. She showed me where she wants me to really focus on for MLD and sent a sketch over to my LE T. LE T claims she nailed two of my 3 worst spots. (the other one is on my back. "Keep a watch on these areas, don't panic about a new lump or a lump that changes size... but if it lingers for more that a couple weeks and/or MLD doesn't soften and move it let me know."

Interesting indeed!
Doubt if my BS would point such things out if she did see them. She does not want to talk about LE!
Thanks Cindy -
Just saw a new genie bra compression cami.
For those of you who like the genie, you may want to check this out. I saw it at a RITE AID Drug store. It was $20. I opened one and did not like the fact they had padded cups, but some may actually prefer that. They looked a little similar to the Wear Ease Slimmer. They came in beige and black.
HTH someone.

The genie cami is very nice, comfy. Not quite enough compression in the right places for me... you can take the pads out of the cups...

you can take the pads out of the cups...
You can ?!
Thanks, Cindyl- good to know. I may just get one then. I liked it. -
OK that go me looking at ebay, and I came across this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Women-Seamless-Paris-Pink-Body-Shaper-Control-Camisole-Rib-Tank-Tops-/380612546982?
Half the price, no pads and that is with the S & H.I ordered A white. I'll write a review when I get it. Sure hope I like it because i would love to get a few colors .

Cindyl ... the Geni shaping cami sounds great. Three questions.
1) Does it have seams, and if so, how thick are they?
2) What's the back like ... How high up does the Genie cami shaper go on the sides & back? Is the back like a sports bra, a regular camisole, or sleeveless t-shirt?
3) does it run true to size (e.g., is a "small" in a genie cami equivalent to a "small" in a maidenform cami?). Thanks KS

Geni shaping cami -
1) It has small seams at the top of the shoulders. Seam binding around the neck and arms. There is an extra layer of material in the bra cups (as I mentioned, mine came padded but the pads are removable) so there is a small flat seam across the bottom of the cups. None of them bother me a bit, and seams often do bother me.
2) The back (on a 1x) is 5.5 inches higher than the front. It's full coverage from armhole to armhole, not a T-back or Racer back or anything useless like that. The arm openings are about nine inches, so generous, not likely to cut in...
3) I have no idea how a maidenform cami fits. But the genie is true to size in that I wear the same size in a ladies UnderArmour Tee as I do in this cami.
Other notes. It's slightly heavier than the control it camis that I have. It has a "ruffle" around the bottom that eases the hip roll up problem that lots of these tops have. (I still like the body suit style better from that standpoint, but this is good.)

Cindy
Thx so much for your review. I love having the opinions of ' we people' when it somes to these things !
as for : " It has a "ruffle" around the bottom that eases the hip roll up problem that lots of these tops have..>"
I saw the ' ruffled edge" and wondered about that and actually thougt the opposite so , this is good to note! -
Haven't tried it but took back the Genie bra as it was too tight around and pinched my trunk LE. I should just spring for the WEAREASE slimmer and be done with trying anything else. They are a bit pricey but I heard they are comfy.
-
Maybe hugz , but hang on if it is too pricey, and as soon as I get my sillimmer from ebay, I will write a review. Cant beat 10 dollars incl . shipping!
(Unless it doesnt help :>( -
Purple I'll wait for your review. I looked up Sassybax, some of the girls liked that one here a few years back. It has aprox 3/4 sleeve .
Cindyl, Thanks for extensive review. I just hate racerback with truncal on me. It grabs me in the wrong spot and creates pain which is probably swelling in the end. Racerback does look nice though.

I finally found a shaper that works for my shape. Often if I comb thru the outlet type stores such as tjmax and winners I find my cheapest and best camis there. Although I have to try out a hundred before I find one that doesn't bind my armpit swell and comes high enough in the armhole area.
This one is by nearlynudeunderwear.com It is a deep v neck with lace style# 16U002 that may or not be best for breast coverage but great for everything else. BONUS. IT IS MADE WITH COTTON. Yes that is what I said. I think it is 51% cotton and the rest poly which has great holding power. It is a bit long for me and I pulled it down to my bottom panty line and it hasn't budged up. Wow!
If you have a wider shoulder and wider waist this one is for you. (I'm built like a man! but trust me I'm all girl
) When I look at it, it is sewn in the waist and flares at the shoulders not much but it has a figure shape. I can't get the wide shoulder fit usually and this is a great one.
You will have to get it on ebay or somewhere else because it is not being made. (I paid 22 but I see on the web, it is 44 the suggested price) The website I gave you is the manufacture site. They have another cotton blend there available that just looks like a ordinary cami.
I walked in it today and it did not budge or bind, my foamies didn't float out either. Didn't sweat like Spanx type stuff does because of the high cotton, mind you it was cloudy cooler today. Now only if it doesn't shrink I will try to buy 7 and be done with it. They are handwash only. I can't believe they make such a high cotton and almost equal poly. I feels like more compression than a underamour.
Going to comb the stores tonight to find more.
Purple. Did you see the wave sleeve from lymphedivas I am thinking of getting it but can't see the true colors. Is is navy or black waves?
When do we get to see you wearing them? Which was your fav. I bet it had purple in it!
-
Hugz
Thanks for your detailed review!
I'm sorry to say I did NOT see the wave sleeve, but your post prompted me to visit the DIVA site and there I am on the ' front scroll'!
I am in the gorgeous 'peacock feather style " sleeve checking out a sequins dress in a trendy and friendly boutique ... This was such fun!
