It is hard to believe 10 years have gone by since I had my bilateral mastectomy with implant recon!  So many dates have been seared in to my mind throughout my cancer journey but this is the “cancerversary” I like to celebrate!

As I think back on this day mostly I think of the changes in my kids; they were 5, 3, and 19 months when I had my surgery.  Today they are 15,13 and 11 ½ years old!!!  Then, I was just hoping and praying to see my oldest get through kindergarten and make it out of the terrible 2s with my youngest and now I am in the middle of the terrible “teens” =)   My heart is so grateful to God that I am still here with my hubby for them to watch and help them grow and now I pray we all make it through these teenage years!!  LOL

While I don’t stop in here too often anymore, BC.org was a huge help to me throughout my treatment and beyond!  I am happy to see the “oldies” thread and so many that are doing well!

Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers and wishing you all Peace and Joy as you go forth!

Big Hugs!

Wendy
