Oh I am so sorry that these treatments failed you. May the next one work better for you. *susan*
-
I am so sorry. Here's hoping the new treatment works and is gentle.
-
I'm sorry. This news just makes me sick to my stomach. All this chemo and pain and suffering. I can't imagine how much you feel like you got robbed. Best wishes. I hope your next treatment makes up for this crap.
-
I'm so sorry..as a fellow liver metster, my heart goes out to you..
Hope your next treatment will provide some stability..and kick away those crap mets!
-
Crud. Crap. Shoot. That stinks. I hope the new drug kicks all 20+ tumors right to the curb.
-
Penny and spamgirl.....that really sucks! I'm hoping the new treatments kick ass,
really sending positive thoughts for you guys! Xoxoxoxo -
So sorry Penny. Just sucks. SpamGirl too. I hate getting the damn scan results...yet again. Sigh. Hoping and praying for a big improvement. Hang in there.
-
Hi Red Wolf. Just an encouraging note: my daughter started TDM1 on a clinical trial for innumerable liver and bone mets, three years ago and it worked like magic and cleared them all away for 1 1/2 years. And it was the easiest cancer drug ever...just mildly achy the first two days after her first tx. It was our miracle and I hope it will be yours, too.
-
You have really been on a yo-yo ride of hope will all your treatments. It is definitely time to let go of work and spend time where you feel it is most important. I'm so very, very glad that I took long term disability and am SSDI. The money just isn't very important to us anymore since we know the bills will be covered. I just hope you can find the treatment that will keep you stable for a long time.
To all who have gotten the progression news recently,
Having progressed so fast in the last month, I'm struggling with the idea that things will move too quickly to find the right treatment. But we can find it. Other women have done this before us so we know that we can get stable, also. I sending all of you a big cyber hug! -
Thank You, Lord, for today's treatment. Please bless it and use it for Your Truth & Healing in me. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
-
Penny,
I hope the tx went well and this chemo brings you the results. Let me know if you have any questions about TDM1. I have been taking it since November. Sending you hugs. -
Fingers crossed and prayers going up that the new treatment will work its magic for you, with minimal side effects.
-
Sorry you had to get that news. I know it's easy to say, but one day at a time.....baby steps. Take gentle care of yourself. Jean
-
Hope the new treatment is kind on you and destroys the 20 tumors.
-
Penny, this really stinks. I'm so sorry about your progression. I hope the TDM1 kicks the cancer to the curb.
Hugs, Annie
