Holistic Treatment Protocols
I thought it would be helpful to have a thread dedicated only to sharing our various complementary treatment protocols. Hopefully it will be a resource for others and help us to share ideas etc.........please do add the regime you are following below, be as specific as you can as often combinations of substances are a lot more powerful than those on their own. Mine is below

1 Solgar Pancreatin Quad strength
2 Immiflex
1 krill oil
After breakfast
1 Indole 3 Carbinol

Hi Lily,
Can you share what the platinum and immeflex are, as well as Naltrexone..and where you got the recommendations for these. I'll research online too, but being lazy today.I actually just had my exchange surgery today. Someone on here had talked about the sedation/local anesthesia over general,to protect the immune system during surgery.. which I tried this time. It went marvelously. I was talking to them while the surgeon was working on me, fading in and out of this weird twilght state , very surreal and interesting experience, felt a little nauseated and headache during recovery for about 2 hours, home tonight feeling great. Sooo glad I'm not having to recover from general. Took a couple tylenol for pain, otherwise feel normal, its waaaay better than general. I know that's off topic, but just wanted to share.
Also, I wanted to share with you that my experience with Artemisinin is that it is very powerful stuff. I used it for awhile and I feel it really helped. I didn't do chemo, stage III. My doc thinks I must have or have had micromets, due to high tumor markers after surgery last year, though I had clean scans after, and they went down to mid normal range soon after and so far have stayed down. Keeping a very close eye out out for changes of course and trying everything I can alternative wise to try to help myself. I hadn't heard of these things you take. I take femara too and had ooph at time of mx.
I would imagine that the Artemisinin is a little rougher w/ the femara than by itself. For me I had to really be cautious and experiment with my threshold on the dosing becaue it's easy to get too much and kill stuff off way faster than the liver can handle and it overwhelms the body and makes you feel terrible for a couple of days, and a little mentally and emotionally out of it too. The experience can make you scared to take it again, which is what happened to me, so be careful. Next time I will start on the lower end of dosing. Remember it is a powerful antimalarial drug, not just an herb. Art can cause anemia too, so be sure to have your bloodwork monitoried. I actually emailed the researcher Dr. Narenda Singh that has done all the studies on Art for the last 20 years in Seattle to help me with the dosing and support. Very helpful, but he seems clear on limits as to how much help he will offer, understandably. PM me if you want his email. He seemed fine w/me emailing him out of the blue after someone from here gave me his email. There are some very specific things that need to be done to ensure the Art absorbs properly and stuff. Anyway, amazing herb for sure, and looking forward to putting myself back on a regular dosing schedule, just with w/ a loooow end of normal dose this time.

Also, I wanted to mention, I put ginger in all my juices. kale, celery, lemon, and ginger, orange ginger, carrot ginger. I read on the cancertutor site how important ginger was, so I of course don't have proof that it does anything, but feel great when I drink it. I eat lots of fish, very occasional hormone free chicken, lots of raw, (enzymatically alive) foods, lots of fruit and veggies.
I also take lugols iodine, liposomal c, asparagus powder, broccolli sprout powder, barley powder. whey protein, fucodian, germaniam, molybednum, vita d, dim, modified citrus pectin, IP6, rasberry powder, whole leaf aloe, astragalus, chaga maitake mushroom, curcumin, green tea, bacopa, ashwaghanda, digestive enzymes, wobenzym.

By now, most of us have heard the recent reports about anti-oxidants. Just thought I'd post an interesting article that I came across about the new info. Food for thought.
