Hello to my favorite ladies on the board!
DD arrived from Tokyo bearing gifts....I got a lovely Japanese fan from Kyoto-the Geisha capital of Japan. It is lovely-and perfect for my all-too-frequent hot flashes..... :0. Too bad I don't look like a Geisha!
Edi, YOU are an artist! I would so order a cake from you......truly amazing creations! Why don't you visit ME here in Oregon, and teach me!?! I am SURE we would have all kinds of fun! :-)
Websister, just wanT to repeat my birthday greetings from yesterday.....I hope you are having a fantastic day and getting everything you want! :-)
Liefie-I just had a brilliant idea! YOU and Edi could start a wedding business.....you would provide the music, Edi the cake and other eats.....I'll bet you can arrange flowers, too! It could be a global conglomerate.....maybe the rest of us could contribute something.....have to think about it! Not sure what I could add.....
Dakota-nice to hear from you this A.M.-hope you have had a good day, with no Cockroach sightings.....
Nihahi, are you busy, busy, busy rearranging to accommodate DD? Maybe you are busy hiking......wish I could join you there!
Traii, Scottie,Carlads, Luvmy, and all......(including Benny )- hope you are ALL doing well, and have had a good day.
Love to all....
Namaste and God bless - Jackie -
Websister......did you save a slice of cake for me? It was a beautiful day, and tomorrow is supposed to be crappy again, so I was out all day playing. Trying to play as much as possible before "the day", so have no guilt feelings about being out so much. Did another 10k, but this one didn't involve slogging through mud and slush, thank goodness.
Edi, hope the sx are minimal this go round. You sound like rads is completely doable for you! I was watching one of the home improvement shows on tv once, and they showed how easy it is to shatter those glass shower doors. Apparently all it takes is a knock along the edge and shasam....pieces everywhere.
Trying to be good about cutting out coffee before surgery....(sob) I miss my morning cup!!!!
Bearcub, hope no news is good news????
Websister, hope Mom is getting the assessments she needs, and isn't too confused by the changes and probably new meds.
Hope all is well with everyone. ((((x)))))
-
Moviemaniac, that idea of the wedding business is brilliant! Flower arranging is not my strong suit, unless the bride would just want the flowers plunked haphazardly into a pot, but I could help Edi with the cooking. LOL. Fan away with your gift from DD. Are you on Tamoxifen? Over the weekend we were at a cute country store where I bought myself a fan to keep in my bag for when a hot flush suddenly strikes. LOL.
Nihahi, glad you could get out and walk 10k. It always clears the mind. When is your surgery again?
-
Nihahi - there is definitely a slice of cake for you. You must really miss your coffee, good for you for your discipline.
Thanks re: Mom - saw her today, she did know it was my birthday but had the hospital and place that I was born wrong.
Benny did text me today to say that her computer hard drive crashed, I hope it won't be down long -
Hi Glorious Warrior Sisters. So love each and everyone of you xxxx
woke at 3am then got up at 4am
impossible to sleep think must be steroids ??
On sixth mug of tea, it is supposed to be good for you honestly
Rads at 11.50 hope in a way they are running really late again as so don.t want to be at home. DH twittered on about the shower door ALL EVENING. !! For goodness sake accidents happen, thanks for the comment about easily shattered doors Nihahi, will tell him.
Seems when it happened DH was helping young plumber put all of stuff into van for tip. Wrinkly butt I think should have had help carrying it, when DH came in and found glass everywhere and wrinkly out on the deck head in hands on the balustrade crying !!
It was only £ 150.00 not a million and he is replacing whole thing if new door not right one. The poor man is undergoing more tests for cancer
he was clear for bowel but now tummy being looked at. Can't believe how horrid DH being. Didn't have the strength to argue last night but DH could be in big sxxt today if he starts again.
When he thought he may have bowel cancer ( he didnt ) he was like a freakin zombie for months, short memory ?Liefie, think i missed some pages on here, your DS getting married on my birthday !! Wish I could send her one of my wedding cakes.
That poor lady with the melting cake, my heart goes out to her. Someone asked me to do one covered in chocolate with chocolate roses once I said nooo chance as it was stinking hot here ( for once ) and they were in a marquee which was like a sauna.
They are the one cake I dread going wrong. Love the blouse and iron story lol.xNihahi, Gosh you have a lot on your plate dear friend right now.
Hope DD is improving iron count, pre diabetic is a pain, understand her diet will be good but does she drink lots of sweet drinks or secretly eat lots of choc bars, my son is on the autistic spectrum and used to find loads of wrappers under his bed. He now is morbidly obese and I keep waiting for him to be diabetic as it runs in family. He eats when he can't cope and being married to the bride from hell doesnt help lol.
Why no coffee pre surgery ?? If they ever stopped my tea Edi would be in bits.xCaitlin, missed page with your post on. Where do you live aka no easter ? Hope no ring of fire for you mine due tomorrow so immodium at the ready.
So sad about MIL, hope DH can spend some quality time with her.
Hope next round treats you ok. (((hug ))).xJennie, how are rads going, loving every minute of mine, there is a shortage of dishy men but the girls are a scream and love to make you laugh as they poke prod and draw all over your poor boob.x
Traii, bet you can't wait for Sunday. DS must be besides himself with excitement. This is what you need to get your strength back. Any letter re op yet ? x
Movie, will visit like a shot ha ha. We could defo do the wedding business on a global scale. We could have a private jet and fly around collecting any of the sisters who want to join in then charge zillions. lol x
Bingo tonight yay went shopping with GD day before yesterday. She was adorable. We parked up, get out of the car. I will pull your trolley bag nana, lasted 5 mins lol. Stayed by my side like she was glued asked for nothing
we shared a macdonalds then re -hit shops needless to say nana now skint can't resist spoiling her.
DH rang and needed wood filler, she crawled on floor looking for it as nana doesnt bend very well. Then helps me read the instructions to check we had right one. Bless her little cotton socks.
Therefore need bingo win to refill coffers.Love to all, laters xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey my gorgeous gorgeous sisters, how are we all today?
Now, Nihahi, no coffee pre-surgery, please explain because I may go insane with no morning coffee ??
Websister, sad to hear your mom didn't remember your birthday. So long as she remembered you that's most important. Poor mom has taken on lots the past few months (that we know of here) she sounds like a strong woman

Edi, my dad is renovating my auntys ensuite with my uncle....my dad is a 'jack of all trades master of none' lol....though he is really good with what he does....(they sometimes say you marry someone like your father, sadly enough, I met his match, perfectionist and knows how to do everything...lol) Its funny, I was over 2 days ago and mum, aunty and I were in the living room with DS.....then BOOM....DS said, 'mummy what was that, it wasn't me', I replied " no darlin' that was not you, it was Dumb and Dumber'...everyone laughing......DS replying, whos Dumb and Dumber!!!
Needless to say we thought it was the basin, luckily it was a tile!! Are you getting the frameless shower doors ? they are very sensitive and can crack at any time...my SIL use to work for a place that sold all that sort of stuff and the amount of DIY people that use to come back and order another one was endless!! Hope that DH of yours controls himself today so you don't have to deal with it when you get back from Rads !!!!So happy you are plodding through your chemo and rads. So when is your last chemo ? Now I've spoken to Johnny Cash and told him that you do not want him to visit you this time around....!!

Liefie, love it, the thought of a bride walking down the isle with a gorgeous pot plant you created...lol....perhaps your DD can get you to organise her flowers for her wedding...
I am not a green thumb, took after my mum there...lol...Funny, one year my aunty and uncle were overseas and left us looking after their house , mum thought she would do a good deed and pull out some weeds from their front garden....dad went over the next day to water the plants and came back to say that someone stole the plants my uncle had planted not too long ago ... mum said oh really from where, dad described the location, when mum and I looked at eachother, well I uncontrollable laughed that much I had tears in my eyes.....Mum's good deed turned out to be her taking out the newly planted plants that had not flowered yet (obviously) ... so dad went and replaced them all before my uncle came back...though of course the flowers were carnations, dad didn't get the right colours so once they blossomed... so mum was caught out....we still laugh about it all the time and just keep mum well away from the garden (everybodies garden) lol!!!Jackie, what a gorgeous gift your DD brought back from Tokyo. With the hot flashes, it should work a treat
I cook with corn beef, but its like spam..it sounds yuck, but my nanna use to make it as a sauce with spaghetti....its been passed down and its a big maltese thing...well I love it and now my DS loves it. On Good Friday we don't eat meat, so lunch time I made ricotta ravioli served with a plain tomato and onion based sauce...my DS looks at me and says yuk, wheres the meat (corn beef) i said well i made it different today.... arghhh.....Your lunch sounded yummy. God Bless your mom who's 96 years old bring on 100
Laurie, hope you are well. Did you have your MRI yet hun ?
Caitlin / Scottiee / Dakota and all you other girls I've missed out on how are you going ??
Carlads xoxo (love your PMs on FB. luv you girl)
Last day of work tomorrow for a few months....then 4 more 'sleeps' til little vacation....just can't wait. The weather is hotting up for the weekend again ( this is real climate change!!) so we may we just may get to go to the beach in Phillip Island and will be a nice evening for the penquin visit too on Sunday night , we are all getting just a lil' excited now!
-
Hi everyone quick hello at work !!!! Spring sports started last night had 3 of the 4. Lacrosse baseball and soccer!!!! Crazy!!! Just one tonight so a quiet night...lol. Maybe we can get a real dinner in. Hope all you lovely ladies have a wonderful day/night !!!! Hugs
-
Lol Dakota u sound like me at work...quick sneaky on the thread...post...then back to work..lol
Wow quiet night...lol.
Enjoy hun ♥ -
ooh, can I join the wedding business too??? I can do the flower arranging....I like the simple look, and almost always have a couple ikebana arrangements I've done sitting around the house. We can sneak the flowers from Liefie's garden when hubby isn't looking! Cake-Edi, music-Liefie, flowers-me, food---Edi, Traii, anybody but me!
I bet Benny was reading up on all those messages and that's why her computer crashed....trying to show her she was missed so much, it was unbearable!
Edi...so sad about Wrinkly butt and still worried about ca. I know you love him, but I'd make it clear to hubby to back off with the attitude...it's a shower door for god's sake!!!!! Traii has the backup info on how easy they break if you need proof! Daughter's actual food intake will be interesting once she's here, cause we only have her "say so" at the moment. However, I've tried to promise myself, that it has to be her choices, not mine, and I won't be in a position to "monitor" her at first anyways. I was passing near her place yesterday, so asked if she wanted me to stop by to pickup some boxes to bring back here......no, she replied, nothing packed yet....aaaarrrggggghhhh. Hubby has a looooooooooong history of staying in the background, (with both kids) while I struggle to get them "on track", then, when the wheels fall off for them, he steps in to be the hero. I can see it happening again, and just can't muster the fight anymore. He and I have often talked about this, and he admits he does it, but won't change. He grew up in a pretty dysfunctional family, and can't stand confrontation and that is where he comes from I think. Makes me out to be the "meanie parent" though!
OK, I broke down and had a 1/4 cup of coffee this morning. Woke up to snow (again) and just needed it to save my sanity. 9 days to go, then surgery. PS says they won't let me have any in hospital either, but when I go home, I can start again. Traii.....every doc is different, but the reason for the no-caffeine is that it constricts the blood vessels. Because they want good blood flow, they often tell patients to stop coffee, tea, etc. before certain surgeries. You're having different surgery, so it might not be a rule for you. 4 MONTHS off work..that is awesome!!!!! Enjoy every minute!!! Weed/flower story too funny!
Dakota...honestly.....HOW DO YOU DO IT???????? Your kids are soooooo lucky to have you.
Caitlin, Jennie, Laurie, Carlads, Bearcub, everybody......hope it's a great day. Good luck at bingo Edi!!!!!!!
-
Nihahi, I now understand about the coffee. Will die without my caffeine fix first thing in the morning, already on my second cup - lol. Well, will just have to suck it up when the time comes. This DIEP surgery is all about good blood supply, right? We don't want anything to go wrong there. I was also told to stop Tamoxifen 10 days before surgery, and to start again 10 days after, because it can cause blood-clotting.
This wedding business is positively blooming - now we have a florist too! Welcome! When can you start? Only small problem is we still have to buy a jet . . . LOL. Re your daughter, isn't it funny how parents often unknowingly have the bad cop-good cop routine? My take on it is as long as you reach your goal in the end, it doesn't matter who gets the child to where he/she needs to be. Best wishes to you in this regard! Only 9 more days, and you'll be rid of the alien. YAY! A friend of mine who just had DIEP surgery told me they keep the room temp. at 24 degrees the first few days to promote the blood flow. They also kept her nil per mouth for some time afterwards in case the DIEP failed, and she had to go back to the OR. Not looking forward to that heat, but hopefully won't have hot flushes as Tamoxifen would have been stopped. Will just lie there naked, and get my DD to splash me with cold water, and fan me! What a picture. Looking forward to hear how your surgery went.
Edi, like the idea of that private jet dashing off to exotic wedding locations - could get used to that! I feel for wrinkly butt, and pray there's nothing seriously wrong with him. I've somehow come to like the guy. DH's can be pretty unpleasant when it comes to work being done for them, and I've also had to keep mine in check on occasion Why would they be like this? Is it because it costs money? It's a mystery to me. I sent Johnny Cash a message that the only song we want to hear, is for him to 'Walk the Line.' There will be serious consequences if he sings anything else - lol!
Traii, that story about your mom pulling out the plants was sooooo funny! If you let me loose in a garden, I will do the same thing - lol. That's why I'm only allowed to water the plants. Can't do too much damage there. Enjoy the holiday anticipation - it's half the fun!
Everybody else, have a good day, and let us know how you're doing.
-
Liefie...you've got a great "que sera, sera" outlook, but I was referring to BIG things, when I wrote about hubby stepping in to be the "hero". Multiple speeding tickets....I said "go get a job"..Hubby paid them off, many, many times. Got drunk and totalled his car (thankfully no one hurt)....I said "ride the bus or walk"...hubby "lent" money for another car that has never been repaid, and hubby had already lent money for the crashed car, never repaid....things like that, not clean your room, or mind your manners at the supper table. I'm a big believer in at some point, you have to live with the consequences of your own actions. I love my son, but I can't say that I "like" him or his choices very much.
ANYWAY.... did another long walk today, to keep up the cardio. Yesterday it was sunny and +20, today, snowy and +2. Such is life over here. Have you got spring to stick around yet????
Gotta go, I'm doing a bunch of pre-cooking today to put in the freezer for post-op.
Hope everyone is doing well. ((((X))))
-
Nihahi, I was referring to smaller things indeed. Like you, I'm a firm believer in dealing with the consequences of your actions yourself. My DH would sometimes be too soft when I felt firmer action was necessary. The sooner kids suffer the consequences of their own actions, the sooner they learn to change their behaviour. One of my boys tested our patience to the limit. I would have stopped all financial support long ago, and wanted to kick him out, but DH kept on giving (enabling IMO), and helping. Thankfully he finished his studies, and has a good job now, but it took forever. He is on his own now, and has not asked for 'help' in a very long time, so I'm cautiously optimistic that he has grown up at last.
Good for you on the walking, and happy cooking! I unwittingly gave myself such a lot of work today. Bought a packet of dried chickpeas last week, because it is much cheaper than the canned stuff. Put it in water to soak overnight, and this morning could not believe how it had swelled, and what an enormous amount it has become now - lol. So I'm going to make veggie burgers, roasted chickpeas and hummus. The other half I will freeze for later. Will keep me busy for the rest of the day, I guess. Better get started!
-
Hi ladies!
I think I'd better claim something for myself re: Weddings, Inc.......I'm bossy enough (according to my. DDs) I'll be the event planner......am working on acquiring private jet to fly us anywhere in the world for a wedding.... :-)
DD from Japan is wearing me out......I am seriously falling asleep as I try to type this, and it is only 4:30 pm! How will I last the evening?? :-/
I may try to post later , b/c right now am barely keeping one eye open....(yawn)
My bed is calling to me..... :-)
Namaste and God Bless - Jackie -
Those veggie burgers sound yummy Liefie!
I've been feeling a lot better this week - but so far behind on posts!
Edi, I live in the US so Easter is celebrated - just no holiday on Good Friday or Easter Monday. Felt so sorry for wrinkly butt - poor man! I hope he gets good news from his tests.
Happy Belated Birthday Websister - meant to post yesterday!
Traii you must be excited re: your Phillip Island holiday - enjoy!
Dakota, I really don't know how you keep up with all the sporting activities!
Nihahi, hoping you're enjoying spring weather while gearing up for your surgery and settling into a nice routine with your DD.
Movie, you must be thrilled to your DD home - hope you will have a lovely time with her.
Well, I'm off for Round 5 tomorrow. I'm a bit apprehensive since it's the first Taxol, but nurses assured me that they have it all under control.
My bro must have enjoyed his vacation here, since he's coming back with the whole family at the end of May. They're going to the Indy 500 to celebrate his 50th - DH and I too if I feel up to it. In the meantime, DH is going down to NC in about 10 days to accompany his mama to some of her appointments. I will have people on call here to help me if I need them.
Have lovely evening, sleep or day, as the case may be! -
Caitlin - trust those nurses, they know what they are talking about
. In your pockets tomorrow
Edi - I feel so bad for Wrinklybutt, I hope everything worked out with the shower door and with your side effects and rads today
Traii - enjoy your vacation thoroughly!
Dakota - you sound so busy, I remember spring sports with my own boys, it was a real challenge trying to get them everywhere they needed to be. Please rest whenever you can
Nihahi - your DH sounds so much like mine. I have had to have some good talks with (read 'to') him about allowing consequences for the boys when the stakes were small, I am thankful for the times he has listened. Hope you had a productive day with your cooking
I will have to think hard about what I can contribute to this wedding business, right now my mind is blank but I'll come up with something.
Benny had her first rads today, counting down now
Take care everyone -
Websister, thanks so much for updating us about Benny. Within a few weeks she will be done with this whole ordeal, she can get strong again, and her life can go back to normal. How the time has flown - feels like yesterday that I read her first desperate plea here. This too shall pass for her.
Movie, your DD will understand that you need more rest/sleep than usual. Enjoy the visit!
Caitlin, best wishes for tomorrow! Lovely that your bro is coming back with his family, and that DH will visit with his mother.
The hummus came out yummy. Just read that it can be frozen, so will do so. Now for the rest . . .
-
Liefie...thought about my last post all afternoon. Didn't mean to come across as so "snarky"....obviously still a sensitive topic around here!!! Hubby came home tonight and announced he had rented a storage locker for daughter, so she wouldn't have to "worry too much" about getting her stuff sorted out. "She can put stuff in the locker and go through it when she wants".......(sigh). Chickpea overload, too funny! Sounds like a few of us spent the day in the kitchen. I've got a bunch of stuff "half-prepped" with instructions attached now sitting in the freezer. Another thing checked off "the list".
Movie....is your daughter on Japan time still? Went to Japan about 15 years ago, awesome experience, but took me weeks once we got back home to reset my clock. Hope you get some good rest...you're still healing girl!!!!
Caitlin..you sound good. Wear the BIG pockets tomorrow, we'll all be there. Glad to hear hubby is going to spend some time with Mom, he has alot on his plate, with the two of you! Spring? Here? Ha? Snowed again tonight. At least it's not really accumulating, but it is getting annoying! It's supposed to rain tomorrow if it gets warm enough, otherwise, more snow....figures, I washed my car today, so something is bound to fall from the skies! Never fails!!!
Edi...any luck at bingo? Hope the shower door saga is resolved. I wonder if wrinkly butt has an idea how many ladies are thinking of him???
We're all thinking of Benny....sure hope rads go easier for her.
-
Nihahi, don't think about your post any more. We're so on the same page here. DH and I still butt heads over this. Hopefully he will realize one of these days that the kids are adults who can fend for themselves now. Daddy has a problem with letting go . . . LOL.
Chickpea cookfest is over for the day. I'm too tired after doing walk/run for 50 minutes in the gym this morning with my stiff muscles from yesterday's workout. Tomorrow is another day.
Have a good night, everybody!
-
Liefie ((((((((((((X)))))))))))))
-
You're welcome, Nihahi. Sleep well!
-
I just called my bc nurse...she remembered me (hope thats a good thing...lol). Asked about thid pain in my (ok dont laugh girls) in my butt cheek going down my thigh...seems like sciatica...said to let her know if it gets worse ( hopefully not)!!
My surgery date still not scheduled...arghhhh
Caitlin good to here your bro and family will be bsck next month
Your poor DH...good he going to be with his mum...he kmows how good you are that he can go
-
Traii....sure sounds like sciatica (aka pinched nerve). Try ice, for about 20 minutes, every couple hours to see if it helps. If it has just started, don't use heat.
This is NOT what you need to take with you on your vaca!
-
Lol i know i didnt need it hey!! Its easing a little but will keep ice in mind..thanks heaps xx
-
Traii....the sooner you ice it, the quicker it will resolve. The pain is from pressure on the nerve, usually some kind of swelling is involved. The ice reduces the swelling....won't give you wrinkly butt, don't worry!
-
Lol right now i dont care wrinkly butt or not

Ill try icing tonight xx -
Hi Everyone,
Been reading all the post..
Websister- I'm so glad you are hearing from Benny..
Traii- Please ice, it really is the best thing!
I've been a little down lately. I have put on almost 8 lbs and I can assure you it isn't from over eating! My NP and NO told me not to worry it's the Chemo and it will come off after treatment. Plus Chemo through me in to menopause!! Which I guess I've been lucky since I'm 52.. I know its a small price to pay to kill the "Beast" but it still bothers me.. A lot of it is water retention..
Off for round 5 today.. 1 more to go..
Caitlin- I'll be thinking about you...
Everyone have a great day!
Love you all,
Carla -
Big Hugs Carlads....((((((X)))))))
Trust you doc if they say the weight gain is chemo related. Those drugs do stuff to all parts of us. Once you get the tx, sx behind you, and get over the chemo fatigue....you'll be back to your normal routines, which will only help you to feel and look better.
-
Hi everyone!!!!
Nihahi - don't stress about ur son. They are his choices. You can't change him !!!
Liefie- u are unbelievable !!! Would u care to share ur recipe for the hummos????
Caitlin - good luck !!!! Kick butt. In your pockets good call on the big pants
Edi - where are u. Hope Johnny didn't get you!!! Please tell wrinkly butt he is in our prayers
-
Hi ladies
I had a two hour appointment at our Breast Cancer Supportive Care Foundation yesterday a.m. It was so good, the nurse practitioner and I just talked about everything. We reviewed stress and stress management, recreation and hobbies, work, diet and exercise, relationships and sexuality and my feelings about recurrence/metastases. It was so nice to have someone take the time to listen and be there 'just for me'. I came away feeling supported and with a list of recommendations customized for my life as it is now. I would highly recommend taking the opportunity to meet with someone if you get it, it has made me feel so much more optimistic and is helping me to focus on 'getting better' now which I was having difficulty doing
Carlads and Caitlin - in your pockets
Traii - listen to the advice, ibuprofen is also an anti-inflammatory
Hugs to all -
Hey everybody
you lot could talk the hind legs off a donkey, these posts have just made a lovely day even better,
Had usual visit from Johny, 6am 7am 8am 9am was due to get to hospital 10am so Immodium was taken, oh I LOVE that stuff, like a flippin junkie with my stash. lol
Got me through rest of day, went early to hospital as my lovely cousins wife is having chemo too, her app was running late so we had coffee ( sorry nihahi ) and a chat, She went for her chemo Edi goes to be cooked had to pick up neulasta from chemo dept. Barb still there so invited me for lunch !! Rang DH who was due back into work in about an hour, off you go says he ,and off I went. Her friend Helen who was with Barb has survived two cancers, endemetriosis and ovarian. They found the ovarian one when they operated for the other one. She now has a long blonde mop of hair and looks flippin amazing. Went to hell and back but now looks and feels great.
Went to supermarket, got petrol for all those trips to hospital came home logged on and pow lol.
Some good news, spare door has been found and will hopefully be ok. Supplier giving it free of charge
arent people lovely ?
Wrinkly butt hopefully doing it tomorrow. DH will be at work I hope so I will be extra nice to the poor plumber.Traii, Just told DH about what your SIL said re shower doors, that shut him up.You get icing that trapped nerve, you must be fit and well for penguin island.
Last chemo 23 then 30th of this month for second part. Rads finish 23rd so won't know what to do with myself every day. Won't miss the treatment but will miss the angels at the hospital.
Johny freakin Cash wasn't really that bad this time and at least the bugger turns up at regular intervals.
LOVE the plant story soo much sounds like my DH he pulls up good plants and leaves the weeds tho. lol.
You rest and get that wrinkly butt pain free xxJackie, you poor love, fun having DD home but must be knackering, sure when she adjusts to US time she will be more laid back.
You defo wed organiser and nice white jet would be lovely lol.
Rest well and recharge, Namaste xxNihahi, AARRGGHH for you, must be meeting yourself coming back !! Locker for DD is priceless
still if it saves your condo from resembling a bomb site let DH do it.
DH has calmed down a bit but as you say it is just a feckin shower door !! Makes a drama out of every crisis but like you havent the strength or inclination to put up with all this cxxp.
Food in freezer, wow pile of tins and an opener would be my answer you are a domestic goddess.
Good cop, bad cop, must be in every family like you I get the sxxxxy end of the stick while lovely ???? Daddy hands out money and gives into them.
If they said nooooo tea Edi would be a sobbing wreck, sure a little coffe isn't going to do much harm.xxLiefie, This Wedding business would be such fun if only in cyber land.
Recipe for hummus please never tried it but sounds healthy. Reminds me of a friend who opened a packet of prawnd crackers ( uncooked ) dropped whole packet in pan and half filled the kitchen with them lol.xxCaitlin, Gosh thought everywhere shut for Easter. here they close for anything and everything therefore supermarket full of people buying up everything in sight as if food and drink will never be in shops again.
Good luck with round 5 in pockets.
So glad DH getting to see his Mom, and that you have lots of help and support. xxWebsister, hope you feeling bit brighter, glad Birthday was fun.
Se's have subsided beautifully thanks, and love, love, love rads. So hope they are good for dear Benny too. Haven't ever heard of them being awful for anyone so heres hoping.xxCarla, in your pockets too for round 5, you are doing so well sure you will be great.
The weight will fall off when things back to normal, more of you for GD to cuddle xx6pm here and can't believe that I am actually HUNGRY, ate couple of crisps ( chips ) for the first time in months and could taste them and they didnt feel like razor blades going down, RESULT. Brought home half my ham salad sandwich as a doggie bag from lunchtime so gonna hoover that down with a pint or two of tea.
All our sisters bless you and keep you safe and well, laters xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
