5 years Clear

I haven't been here for awhile. I got good news yesterday. My mammogram was clear! I'm into year 5 cancer-free. I had two lumpectomies, partial breast radiation, and will be on tamoxifen through August for my DCIS.

I remember the endless doctor visits, biopsies, tests, and decisions. 5 years ago. I'm really glad I did what I did for five years of good news!

Thank you for your kind wishes. The memories of the procedures, doctors, decisions, discomfort, and uncertainty are just as vivid today as they were 5 years ago. This community's support was instrumental to my ability to stay calm, march forward and do what needed to be done to get healthy. My wish for everyone here is to get five years of good news!

    Thanks!

    Mary
