Kindness in the strangest places

I had a bilateral mast exactly 4 weeks ago today. It was my second time with BC. (And I'm only 42!) But, here is the cool part. My husband has played softball with the same group for 10 years. This year, they wanted to help raise awareness of this rotten disease and honor me. So they died their white, bar sponsored, T-shirts PINK TIE DYE! Inevitably, people ask these men why... and they tell my story and the importance of early detection.
It was the first time I cried during this whole mess. I feel so blessed...

    Wow Christine!
    Wow.
    Of course you feel blessed.
What a wonderful, wonderful group of men.
And that it was men doing this, in support of you.
    Even more incredible.
Men "get it" but often don't know "what" to do. I think these group of guys found a brilliant way to support you and raise awareness at the same time.
Thanks for sharing this. It is very inspirational.

    Christine,

I applaud and thank these men. What a bunch of neat guys....not the least of which is your husband. Congratulations you picked a good one.

    Hi Christine!
So glad you posted this...when we talked and you told me about it I just got goose bumps...you are blessed! Tell the guys that I think they are one super bunch (and as you know I don't have much use for men at this moment in time so let them know that that is HIGH praise coming from me).
Get some pics of them if you can!
    Hugs and we'll talk soon.
