Not too sure about the little dance Burnell just did.... kinda don't like him much for that!
-
Oh good grief!
-
They probably should send Devin home... he's been in the bottom almost every week or every week I lose track
-
Not surprised that he went... Not sure they will use it this year. Guess we will see
-
I can see what's happening...They are all saving the SAVE for Lazarro....
Happy for 2 or 3 girls the boys are disapointment
This judge has spoken.........
-
Unbelievable, that song was worth a save, he said a classy goodbye. That Worst site is abominable, it is so unfair. Noticed NM did not stand up for Devin - was she the not unanimous?
-
You think they will use the save for Lazaro? Possibly but he isn't going to win by a long shot. I do believe they called out in the order of #1, 2, 3 etc... tonight. Though Ryan said no specific order. I totally think Janelle and Kree were in the top 3. As Jimmy said, "Janelle could end up being the dark horse". She keeps singing and picking the right song I think it could come down to her and Kree in the finale. She's going to have to pull out some show stoppers though. I am really beginning to think that maybe Angie won't go to the end. Could come down to Candace, Kree and Janelle top 3. I think Janelle may have picked up a lot of Paul Jolley's following when he left... ? guess we will continue to wait and see week byu week.
-
'til next week. Good night!
-
Karen I agree votefortheworst is a terrible site, but they have been in existence for years!! and every year they pick someone to do this too... I think it blew up really big and started with Sanjaya (sp?) and it has continued. Eventually the person they pick ends up going home. I don't recall that they have ever helped anyone win. LOL! But they do move from one Idol to the next when the person they are pimping finally gets sent home. So it continues till the show finale. UGH!!!
-
What Renee said...
Sorry Ladies....I started feeling kinda feverish and exhausted......
I couldn't move from the couch to the chair
I have a desk top...
Good Night
See you Monday......
♥
-
You may well be right, if Janelle sings each week like she sang yesterday, it may well be Kree and Janelle, though Candice is strong, as is Amber, Angie not so much. Sheila, where are you, everything OK?
-
Sheila, that flu bug is a killer, hope it is not that, I was down for the better part of a week. Take care and rest. Good night all, see you Monday.
-
I don't think the judges will save Lazaro when it's his (overdue) turn to exit. They may not even need to use the save this season...that would be interesting because they have always put it into play in all past seasons, right?
I liked Iovine's comment that Janelle's should record that Motown cover for her album. I felt it was that good also. Couldn't help being a little picky this week. I listened to a lot of Motown growing up.
-
I totally forgot tonight! It sounds like I didn't miss much! Except Keith singing oh well I will catch it on YouTube.
Sheila I hope your not getting the Flu not fun at all! Take care & nite nite to All you music lovers! -
Sheila - I LOL'ed at your comment about the high heels. I told my son the guys looked like they were walking little old ladies across the stage. Their shoes are ridiculous, especially since no ones sees them after they sit down - sheesh!
I DVR'ed the show and watched it later. Elimar, I thought Janelle's cover of "You Keep Me Hanging On" was SO good, I told a friend of mine if it was sung with that much angst when I was thinking of divorcing my husband many years before I actually did, that would have been the push I needed. The words always made me stop and apply it to my situation, but the happy, bouncy tune didn't finish the job. Jimmy's right - that should go on her album if she has one.
As good as Burnell is, I thought he ruined "My Cherie Amour". And I know it's because of a few years of French I took in college and high school. I can't say a French-derived word to this day without putting the French spin on it, haha. And he sang it like a true Southerner - way too much twang for such a gentle love song. Last week, he did "Let It Be" and it was great! But how had he never heard the song before? Was it Jimmy that said, this is their career, they need to know at least the big stuff!
I like Kree okay, but I think Candice is very good. Kree is missing something more natural to me and Candice is great at not holding back, yet being controlled. She can really rock, too, and I always love the rock songs.... except that Bob Seger group song. ugh
I can't help but wonder which, if any of these contestants would make it past the coaches on The Voice? Somebody will be up there singing and I think they're great, but all the coaches are looking at each other saying, "almost", "not quite there". They're ears are finely tuned, that's for sure. I think they might like Candice, Kree, Janelle, Burnell and Lazoro - haha, just kidding! Amber just doesn't do it for me. Nor does Angie - my son says she's trying to win votes with her legs, haha.
Well, I woke up and just HAD to get these thoughts down. I'm usually several days behind you ladies but this time I insisted we had to keep up.
Oh, I almost swooned when Keith Urban sang! I've never heard him - it was terrific and he was tearing that guitar up! I had no idea he could play like that - kind of reminded me a little of Bon Jovi, but with awesome guitar skills.
-
Keith is my new HOTTIE!
-
Eph3, he is that!
-
I third that....
-
Just a reminder.....
-
Hi all. I've been recording AI and watching it later. I'll have to watch it in real time for now on.
-
Where is everyone? I'm nursing a sore throat and the chills, so I won't be posting that much, my computer is in another room and I am all wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. Looks like we are in for a lot of talent tonight, I see alot of 4 chair turns, can't wait to see. Some kind of story from this young man.
-
Oh Karen...Sorry i was on the phone and also not feeling very good.....
It's taping....
We can post tomorrow
-
I'm having a nice cup of tea with some honey, sorry you don't feel well either, We'll just lay low for tonight. hugs, Karen
-
Sorry to hear that you both are not feeling well. Seems like you're doing what you can to get better. I watched a repeat of the voice Sun. night w/ my 16yr old son. It was great having something we could enjoy together. Need to learn a little Spanish though? just joking.
-
Hi bbay, it is a good show to watch with family, and that's hard to find these days. Holly was phenominal, Blake has quite the team, love when he called Usher, "gusher" for talking so much, Adam got that last girl on Tuesday and she was dynamite, she will be everyone's competition, cannot remember her name, Katherine maybe?
-
Just finished watching last nights voice
I admire these judges...they are all so adorable...maybe they can have their talk show
i liked the last guy and the blonde girl...and the spanish singing girl
Here comes tonight's VOICE
-
Last night we were laughing w/ the judges. They are an entertaining group. My son just commented that it is harder for the contestants now because space on the teams is limited.
-
Hi Sheila, hi bbay, it's so hard when the chairs don't turn around, my granddaughter is watching with me tonight, these judges are the best, even better than last years, they could have their own talk show.
-
Hi bbay....It's so nice that your son likes these type of shows......
When my daughters were still living at home.....nobody was interested...they used to call American Idol...mom's educational show......
The judges are very funny......
-
Hi Karen...How are you feeling?
