ingestion of cannabinoid's -hemp oil for treatment?

Yazmin, you can travel with a vaporizer, and they can be shipped anywhere, depending on the vaporizer manufacturer. But if you're going to travel with one, be sure it's brand new cuz the resin from the plant is detectable if you've used it.
As for your mindset, remember this "illicit drug" is just a plant. A weed, in fact. It grows wild if a bird poops out a seed. So it's not a drug at all ... it's a herb just like any other herb. Placed here to interact with our bodies (our endocannabinoid systems) to promote health and wellbeing. That's the big difference between cannabis and drugs, which cannabis is not, despite its schedule 1 classification.

AnneW and Sama ... hey there! I'm not in Boulder, but I'm in Woodland Park! We should all get together sometime! We could have a legal good time and promote healing in our bodies all at the same time!

The more I learn about medical marijuana, the more I agree that it is medicine (I guess not for "addicts" though, but that's a different matter).
Now, how do you know you are ingesting 1 gr/day (which you indicated is what one should be taking for medicinal purposes)? Is it possible to make MMJ oil, for instance, and place it in gel caps?
Since I live in Washington, DC, I plan to get started when they finally come around to opening these dispensaries, and providing us (cancer patients) with cards, so that we can use MMJ legally and under medical supervision. I am trying to learn as much as I can before that happens.
They've been dragging their feet, but hopefully, it will soon become legal around here, and it's about time.

Yes, Yazmin ... didn't we discuss this on the phone? Yes, you can weigh out your oil dose with a digital postal scale and empty veggie capsules. And given that, yes, you can make gel caps. You can forget about using it under "medical supervision." There aren't doctors like that ... the doctors just write the recommendation then you supervise yourself. Most doctors don't even want the "stigma" of writing the recommendation, so you have to develop a relationship with a dr who will write the rec. The medical community, in general, has no clue how marijuana works and how we should, or shouldn't, use it. LOL There's a website called WeedTracker ... it has all sorts of dispensary listings, etc., for the legal states. Bookmark it for when you're ready to go.
Please do keep in mind that it takes about 4 months to grow the plants to make oil. Also, DC is already legal. Has been for a year and I've read that there are dispensaries, so check WeedTracker to see:
"Amendment Act B18-622
(80KB) "Legalization of Marijuana for Medical Treatment Amendment Act of 2010" -- Approved 13-0 by the Council of the District of Columbia on May 4, 2010; signed by the Mayor on May 21, 2010|
Effective: July 27, 2010 [After being signed by the Mayor, the law underwent a 30-day Congessional review period. Neither the Senate nor the House acted to stop the law, so it became effective when the review period ended.]Approved Conditions: HIV, AIDS, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, cancer, other conditions that are chronic, long-lasting, debilitating, or that interfere with the basic functions of life, serious medical conditions for which the use of medical marijuana is beneficial, patients undergoing treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Possession/Cultivation: The maximum amount of medical marijuana that any qualifying patient or caregiver may possess at any moment is two ounces of dried medical marijuana. The Mayor may increase the quantity of dried medical marijuana that may be possessed up to four ounces; and shall decide limits on medical marijuana of a form other than dried."
But if there aren't dispensaries yet, if the law has been passed, find out how many plants you can grow and get those girls started. Even without dispensaries or knowing someone to get cuttings from, you can purchase seeds online and learn all about growing online as well. Honestly, if you're willing to grow your own, that's the only real way you'll know what you're getting. When you walk into a 7-Eleven for pot, they'll tell you what is labeled as Strawberry Cough is Strawberry Cough. But is it? And how was it grown? Did they use systemic pesticides on it? And if they say they didn't, how do you know they're being honest? Just some food for thought.
WAY far from being regulated and I highly doubt it really ever could be regulated in the way that, say, a Tylenol is. For example, my neighbor and I were enjoying some grapefruit hashplant the other day ... it was really heavy and a downer for her while it made me grin like a Cheshire cat. So when two different metabolisms process the same thing two different ways, how can that ever be regulated? For that matter, how could a physician even recommend a strain for your ailment when it might not affect you that way at all? So that medical supervision thing is going to be problematic for you, I'm afraid. In Colorado, we have the option of assigning a "caregiver." That is someone who we designate, and is willing to grow medicine for us. That is the model I prefer. I have grower buddies who I know I can trust and I assign one of them as my caregiver and get my meds that way ... don't like the dispensary model at all. Too much money-grubbing going on and the patients pay the price. Not to mention every time we make a purchase there, we're on camera committing a federal crime and the MMJ database is shared with law enforcement in this state, so it ain't the fun place it's made out to be. Oregon is a much better choice these days! LOL

Dear Melizza:
You wrote: didn't we discuss this on the phone?
No, Melissa, we haven't. You have me confused with someone else. LOL

But thank you for continuing to share your WEALTH of information.
Indeed, I have discovered that a lot of people are reluctant to use those dispensaries for the reason that you indicated above: being placed on a list, seen committing a Federal offense.
And though DC is legal, they are dragging their feet establishing those dispensaries, anyway, that's right.

Oh well, chemo will certainly do that to one's brain! LOL OK yes the oil comes in a 12ml syringe and you can just press the plunger and squeeze it into capsules easily. You would need a digital postal scale that measures down to 1/100th of a gram for those tiny measurements. That and some empty veggie caps. Makes them highly portable that way.

read up on cannibas high in CBD's and low in THC. I take it, crush buds, put in capsules and take it 5 times in a day. CBD's kills cancer...google it. I don't use the oil because the way I take it causes no effects at all. I can't even tell I took it and oil will. I can't afford to risk the chance of getting stoned at all. I work and take care of a small child. I am not doing chemo so don't need it for those side effects...just want to kill anything that may pop up later. Hope this helps, I got the idea from someone on this board.

What is your native language, Dr. Kisper?

Very interesting that Dr.Kisper has not responded!!!
-
Shocking, isn't it?
If you google him, ALL the hits are for this same exact posting on various message boards. Personally I am a bit dubious about a "doctor" who can't compose a simple sentence in correct English. -
Sooooooooooo what does all this mean??????
-
I successfully treated my stage 2b breast cancer with raw cannabis, broccoli sprouts, and turmeric spice. I dried the cannabis bud and ground it up, and stuffed into gel capsules. I took 6 capsules a day. I took 3 capsules each of the broccoli sprouts and turmeric spice a day. I did not have any side effects at all. I worked six days a week and felt wonderful during the whole duration of my cancer. No mastectomy, chemo, or radiation like the oncologist wanted me to have. I am now on a maintenace dose of each. I found out a couple of days before Christmas that I was cancer free. What a great Christmas gift!!
-
Joey, Although I continue the same regime as you I gave in to the radiation. I am on day 3 and was told to stop taking antioxidents because they stop the rads from working DUH........that is what they are supposed to do, stop the bad stuff. I put a call into my oncologist who seems to have an open mind and he called me back today to discuss radiation with mebut I missed his call. I am thinking of stopping.
