I'm sorry about your Dad hallucinating Dork. Can't even fathom how hard it is to do the interventions on parents. I'm dreading the day. I thank you for prayers for Annie situation. Her mommy is my ex DIL. I don't mind opening up. I need the feedback from you wise ones!
Cami...pass the Xanax (that how you spell that?) let's keep big dispenser at the bar!!
Cyndielou, his you know what wasn't shaped? What does that mean. Was it the wrong shape? An innie maybe? Mental pic not so good. :-/ ha
Oh goils I want to be a wino tonight. Have day off tomorrow so time ta get mese drink on!! -
For Cyn
New puppies or young dogs will try to put everything into their mouths, because they are curious about their surroundings.
Puppies also play with each other through play-biting. When a puppy bites too hard during play, his siblings may yelp and stop play temporarily. Biting too hard on an adult dog (e.g. their mother) may also result in a correction. In this way, puppies learn social rules and boundaries.
Never let a puppy play bite on your hands even if at the moment you too think it is just a game. The pup needs to be taught from the beginning to never chew on humans. Do not play with the pup’s mouth or allow others to do so. Do not allow people to stick their hands into your pup’s mouth. This will encourage them to bite on hands making it hard to curb the behavior.
If giving it a toy or chew bone in place of a hand doesn'twork, ..say ouch or oops when she bites, get up, go into another room, close the door, wait 15 seconds and then upon your return to your pup, greet her like you have not seen her for a week with a big HI!!!!! And resume play.

Bernie I had to look at that picture 2x==hahahahaha and the dog is so cut too. LOL

Good morning, Loungettes! Brrrr is all I have to say. Except for yuck getting up in the dark. 1 year ago today it was 82 degrees. Today it's 26 degrees. Make up your mind, Mother Nature!
Cammy--glad you're feeling better!
ORLA--Hoping you get better soonliest! Being sick is NOT fun.
Goldie--Nah, I'm not surprised, just disgusted. I'm not sure I'd be surprised if I got a foot of snow in June or even July. Well, maybe in July.
CynCyn--I am looking forward to fiddleheads. Steamed with a little garlic butter. Or gently simmered in a lamb stew. Ummmmmmmm!
Cammy--actually, back trouble and the D makes sense. All of the nerves that go to and from the bowel go through the spine, and if there is damage that is irritating those nerves it can show up as D or constipation. Pain med due make most people sleepy, but there is a percentage of the population that react oppositely. There is a very old drug that you can still find in a few pharmacies, DTO or Deodorized Tincture of Opium. It comes in liquid form, the dose is measured in drops. It used to be very popular with pediatricians for colicky babies and with gastroenterologists for stubborn or chronic diarrhea. I've seen it used as a pain med for people who can't swallow and are allergic to morphine but it's gone out of fashion now that there is a high concentrate liquid form of oxycodone available. It's expensive but very effective for diarrhea. And I love it when you ramble, it's always interesting! Oh, my, out of Xanax? I'd go crazy! I don't use it every day, but if I don't have it available, I get very nervous. I suppose I'm addicted to it, too!
DorKable--I know it's hard when momma isn't feeling well. You probably didn't give anything to her. She is living in a place where she will be exposed to many things and she will catch some of them, unfortunately. BUT, she's in a place that will also take care of her and make sure she doesn't get dehydrated, which is a good thing. Oh,my, your poor Dad! He needs to get to NJ FAST!
Becs--yup, the HTL casino is the best! Especially the ATM that spits out free money, one by every door!
BBBBernie--good advice for CynCyn! Oh my goodness I nearly fell out of my chair!
Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the Rainy Wednesday
2 oz brandy
3 oz mandarin soda
Combine in a lowball glass. Optional: add a slice of lime or orange.
-
LOL Cami, you also said “I’ll be bock”. And NOOOO, you did not sound mean at all. But I can hear how confused you are by everything. I would not like to feel jittery either. And if it’s the back causing the D, I hope they get it figured out. And you know you can ramble if you want. Oh look there, you’ve already figured it out. See, just like MrsVino said before, we are alcoholic drug addicts! Get that Xanax girl!
Lara, good luck with that fill.
Dort, by waiting until November, for yet another soygery, can you at least enjoy your pewl during the summer? I know how much you love your pewl. Sorry to hear about your mom, if she does have the D, make sure they are cleaning her well. I remember you saying she had some sort of sore on her bottom, how is that doing? And issues with your dad too. (((((DOROTHY)))))
LMAO Cyn at de Greek BF, and lack of shape, and Becks wanting to know if it’s an innie, and a not so good mental pic. That is hilarious!
OMG, that hand in the dogs mouth looks so real.
NM, sounds like your weather can be as crazy as ours. That DOTD sounds yummy. I’ve never had Brandy before.
Well, nuttin new around here, as usual! Not sure if we are going to town today or tomorrow. But will be heading to Flagstaff on Saturday for a date. Going out to lunch and to the Home and Garden Show.
Hmmmm funny, I saw dis guy come around de corner, right after our sweet lil Dork.
-
-
Lori--ooo I like dat guy--is he pullin' up or goin'down? Either way it's all good.
Yep it's fill day for Lara and I hope it really goes well and she's more comfortable.
Dork Nove? why do u have to wait so long--I really don't understand filld but they sound painful to me. I hope u mom is much better today.
NM u'r right I never heard of that pain med--for D too, like u said when there's newer ones out they tend to forget the older ones that might be just as good. TY I'm glad u'r familiar about the back and D thingy, cuz it's all Greek to me---Oh I used to date a Greek and--oh that's another story. Anyway I have to check this out.
We'r possed to get a blizzard soon???
Oh here's and idea my SIL gave m--take a bottle of green olives stuffed with anything and empty the brine and fill with vodka and let them sit in there--Y don't have to put them in a drink, just serve them-yum I think.
Thank everyone for u'r kindness to me, I've been a bitch and feel so much better now--Well I'm an official addict, of course with many other things too, but just another addiction. I've watched that show about being addicted to--Oh God knows what---so mine is mild can't even make it on a show. Last nite I saw an ad for an coming show she's additcted to animal blood--drinks it and adds it in all her food. Well she said it's animal blood but who knows if she has any family or friends left.
OK I';; check in later to see how Lara's doing.
-
a little something for you cammi and lara

if i say i was wrestling with a naked guy at 230am ,guess where i was?
-
Good Morning!
Thanks for the advice Bernie..I read something similar to that but not exact. I would love for him to stop this biting crap by June so I can go away with confidence. I will give it a try and see what happens.
Cami, I dont ever recall you being a biotch..ever....I dont actually think you have it in you to be one...i must have missed the I'll be Bock....lmao.
Beckers it definately was an outie....I've heard they come in all sizes but would have to feel sorry for the greek with an innie...lmao! Seriously Beckers I was refering to the religious (used to be I guess) surgical removal of extra skin. :0)
NM....I had heard you got another foot or there abouts of snow the other night. A friend of mine said she was shoveling her driveway and heard robins chirping and thought there was something wrong with that picture. I agree. My friend Julie is a case worker for the State of Maine in Elderly services, we have been friends a very long time and she typically visits around this time of year and will be here in a few weeks. Always saying how she will move here one day and is always looking at jobs here , even tho she only has 9 years left before her full pension.
So now we got MemaSuz in Cali and Kathy on a little island near Portugal...both soon to have face time with another breastie....very esscited and cant wait for the picutres.
Lara, good luck with your fill!
Cheers everyone!! And stay Thirstdey!
-
Hmm Julie, so many possibilities. Personally I would guess you were trespassing at a nudist camp and you were busted by security. ...Was I right? Close?
-
Thank you for posting the poem about Alzheimer's. I was so discouraged at work yesterday dealing with the patients with dementia. The pic of the breasts and beads...my first thought was, "Maybe those are cooling beads for hot flashes." Ha. Don't know if I will ever get my sexy back!!!
Cyndielou, lmao too! Haha...that makes sense now!

Spanish captain was walking on his ship...
A soldier rushes to him and says, "One enemy ship is approaching us!"
Captain replies calmly, "Go get my red shirt"
The soldier gets the shirt for the captain. The enemy ship comes in, heavy rounds of fire are exchanged. Finally, the Spaniards win.
Soldier asks, "Congrats sir, but why the red shirt?"
Captain replies, "If I got injured, then my blood shouldn't be seen, as I didn't want my men to lose hope." For success, hope is very important.
Just then, another soldier, "Sir, we just spotted another TWENTY enemy ships!"
The captain calmly replies, "Go bring my yellow pants." -
LMAO Bernie!!
