I just wanted to pop in with an update. I did indeed start on my meds for anxiety ( celexa) and I am a NEW women. I feel SO MUCH BETTER...These meds have saved my life. I am feeling healthy but more importantly I feel happy. I am back to myself . I feel hopeful for the future and now that I am on these drugs I reliaze I have struggled with this extreme anxiety for a lon long time. I am a better friend, mother and wife. I am so thankful...I just passed 3 years since chemo ended. Next goal is August which is my 4 years since surgery!
Blessings to all of you! Thank you for your support.

Yay! I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better. I took Paxil for a while after tx ended, I was really struggling and it really helped me. I hated to admit that I needed meds but if I'm miserable and I'm making everyone around me miserable then why not and I'd would take them again if I need to. Sometimes life is more than even us "Superwomen" can take

No such thing as superwoman gals. Healing and recovery yes.

Good for you, Pure. You did what you needed to do to take care of yourself, and that takes courage. I hope your even keel remains peacefully even.

So happy to hear this, Pure. You are very fortunate that you were put on an antidepressant. The drugs in the benzo family (valium, activan, klonazpan) etc. can be addicting.
