just got out of hospital
Well, just got out of hospital. They thought I had a blockage to my heart somewhere.....pressure in chest, hard to breathe, came on with only walking. Turns out after tons of tests my heart is healthy and my symptoms are a result of my rads. That stinks...guess gotta live with it. Only 10 more to go

jabal, we're sorry you're having such a rough time, but so relieved for you that it wasn't the heart problem they feared! Sending you good vibes and encouragement as you count down those last 10!

thank you, I guess I am just in the middle of a pity party and caught up in fear. The fear that nothing will be good enough to get rid of this. I hate fear, it serves no purpose and only holds me back. If I have a day that I don't think about cancer I feel like I am not doing enough and should never let my guard down and the circle begins again. Do you ever get to a point where you want to live and forget about it? The feeling that is ok to drop your guard for a moment?

Jabal
Were your symptoms related to rads or anxiety? Are you taking anything to help you get through this?
You are right. Fear serves no purpose and it can have SEs that are really exhausting and disruptive.
I have a lot of faith in radiation. It worked for me when chemo failed.
If you are having days when you don't think about cancer, this is great! Don't berate yourself. Follow jenjen's advice. Rest up, do something nice for yourself. This will be over soon. -
Jabal,
Hope you are feeling better! Glad your heart is ok. I am halfway through and I feel a kind of pressure, hope it is just the pollen with all t he azaleas in bloom! Hang in there and I will be sending positive thoughts your way!

thanks for your comments. Sorry so long getting back to you all. I have more symptoms of side effects now that rads are one month over. I have constant sharp pain in the breast, it moves around, jab here jab there. I am guessing normal I see radiologist next week for my followup. Now carrying around a bottle of arimidex I don't have the guts to start taking. Funny about the ER visit about heart. The doctors insisted on admitting me to check the heart out. Heart specialist said side effects from rads...onco radiologist says no. I guess no one wants to take responsibility for it. My heart is strong, that is all that matters I guess. Anyone besides me scared of taking that first HT pill?
