The Enemy

Recently, I've been sucked in. Surgery over, no further treatment necessary. Whew! Dodged another bullet . . . See, BJ, you didn't need Him after all. You "cured" yourself! OH MY! The enemy works in very nasty ways.
I've found myself lately reacting very badly and very non-Christian-like to some things and even to BC sisters that I'm very ashamed of. My old-worldliness creeps back in.
Asking that, if you have room in your prayers, that you remember me to Him that straightens our paths that I'll get back in Christ's lane where I belong.
Thank you and may God bless you!

BJ,
Everyone always has room for someone in their prayers.
I will keep you in my prayers.
Do you have a Bible? Some of them in the back reference certain verses that will help with whatever you need. Just a suggestion. -
BJ, GOD never leaves you. you have had a battle with the beast,HE(the beast) will never get you, remember what our lord promised. FOOT PRINTS--- WHEN YOU SAW ONLY ONE SET OF FOOTPRINTS... IT WAS THEN THAT I CARRIED YOU. you will be in my prayers, you are a good person, just probaly tired of fighting the BEAST. debbyfive

BJ,
I battle all the time with thoughts and reactions that aren't very Christ like, I think we all do.
I will pray for you and myself ~
Hugs,

BJ, if the path we walked was always straight, if we never wanted to step off now and then to see what was tempting and enticing -- then we wouldn't be human.
I so admire your courage and your openness to bring this to all of us.
There's no such thing as a "perfect" life, a "perfect" person and I think we each have areas where we keep working, old habits want to creep back in. Part of the life journey to iron out the wrinkles. Heaven knows I was saying this morning that I still need to work on forgiveness (for myself and when I feel I've been wronged/hurt).
You are in my prayers and I think the God we know is a forgiving and and understanding God. And you are a blessing. -
Ya'll are absolutely wonderful! Thanks so much for your words of prayers and encouragement! ONWARD! I pray for you all as well. :-)

Good Morning BJ:
Life is not always
easy for us
and each one of us
can get off the path
This past week, I have had
to ask for more tolerance
and patience in certain
issues/areas of my life
Sending out blessings
as we start a new week.
Hugs -
Start Over
When you've trusted God and walked His Way,
When you've felt His Hand lead you day by day,
But your steps now take you another way--
Start over.
When you've made your plans and they've gone awry,
When you've tried your best and there's no more try,
When you've failed yourself and you don't know why--
Start over.
When you've told your friends what you plan to do,
When you've trusted them and they didn't come through,
And now you're all alone and it's up to you--
Start over.
When you've failed your children and they're grown and gone,
When you've done your best but it's turned out wrong,
And now your grandchildren have come along--
Start over.
When you've prayed to God so you'll know His Will,
When you've prayed and prayed and you don't know still,
When you want to stop cause you've had your fill--
Start over.
When you think you're finished and want to quit,
When you've bottomed out in life's deepest pit,
When you've tried and tried to get out of it--
Start over.
When the year has been long and successes few,
When December comes and you're feeling blue,
God Gives a January just for you--
Start over.
What Grace the lord has shown us,
This morning I am thankful for Gods grace he has given us through his Son .
We ask and we are forgiven.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not
your own doing; it is the gift of God ~ not the result of works,
so that no one may boast. Eph 2:8-9 (NRSV)
Hugs,
Carrie -
Carrie you always find the perfect prayers and sentiments to post. This one goes in my favourites ~ it can be read again and again. Thank you.
