Hi all!  I live in the Baltimore area and recently learned that my OB/GYN, who I love, is leaving her practice.  Does anyone have any recommendations for a great, caring GYN who has lots of experience with BC patients?  An office at Greenspring Station or GBMC  would be great!  Many thanks.

Hi Southport - I have a great gyn, but she's in Rockville, so no help here for you.  Sorry!  Does your PCP or MO have any recommendations?  Maybe you could call their offices and get some names.

Thanks NatsFan.  I'm planning on asking all my docs - just trying to get as many ideas as possible!  Thanks!

My daughter uses Dr Morganti.  She is the head of the OB/GYN for Union Hospital and is located at Union Hospital (by Johns Hopkins U).

I don't know if she is accepting new patients.

I also don't know how much experience she has with BC patients.  However, when I was diagnosed with BC 6 years ago (no family history), she immediately had my then 23 y.o. daughter go in for a baseline mammogram and has her get a yearly mammogram.

Dr. Morganti's reasons is that my BC might have been caused by something environmental and, therefore, my daughter might also be at risk of BC.

Thanks Sassa!  I'll look her up.
