lumpy upper arm near bicep

can anyone tell me if lymphadema ever presents as lumpy. I have some slight lumpiness near my bicep on the cancer side? only mild lymphadema in the hand on that side, does anyone have this?

Lightandwind, yes, lymphedema can look lumpy and be limited to one place or another. Do you have a good therapist who can help you define and treat this? Let us know what you discover, please.

Thanks Binney I had not noticed this before. The skin is slightly thicker there too. I'll keep an eye on it. Anyone else experience this?

Oh, I wanted to add, it doesn't look lumpy but feels mildly lumpy in the one spot just above my bicep on the top of my arm.

Thickening of the skin is typical of lymphedema that's been present awhile, as the inflammation of lymphedema can cause fibrosis to form.
