    HOORAY we have us a jumper, how to pick 5?, the boys will be hard pressed to do this well.  I love Kree, can see her going the way of Carrie Underwood.  Absolutely love Keith as a judge, he is so knowledgeable about music and shares it with us so effortlessly.

    Sheila, we two are voting the same, I'm splitting mine between Kree, Janelle, Angela, Amber and Aubry with Kree getting the majority of my votes.  Did like Candace though, old soul voice.

    AMERICAN IDOL RECAP 3.5.13

    Ooookay!!!

    Nicki is looking strangely normal tonight…and is uncharacteristically silent, staring off into space as contestants perform. She tells Keith she’s in a weird space today…maybe it’s PMS?

    ZOANETTE is up first, screaming out her song from the get-go, and marching awkwardly all around the stage. I was so envious of mimi and karen, who were prepared with their earplugs and cotton balls. At least the judges were honest. KU: Spirited, ferocity, exhibitionism; NM: Not good, off-key; RJ: A mess!; MC: a bundle of festivities. The good part – Zoanette  really is a cheerleader for all the others who are performing. Wish she wouldn’t have been licking her teeth under her lips the whole time she was talking to Ryan. If she stays, I’ll be amazed…or else this group is still in full-swing: http://www.votefortheworst.com/

    BREANNA – Really pretty girl, good voice, judges are nodding along to her song. Looks like a million dollars, except for her size 10 high heels on her size 8 feet. Judges are stingy with complements…even Nicki says “Wrong song! Strained!” RJ and MC: no “Moments”…

    AUBREY – Such a cute girl; used to watch Kelly Clarkson when she was 8 years old. DANG! Very sweet voice, but the song was bigger than she was. Judges underwhelmed. If she stays, she'll really have to step it up.

    JANELLE – Good voice, good song choice. Judges are clapping!!! KU: Classic country voice; NM: You are a lil’ marshmallow that I want to eat.( Surprised ) RJ: You should make an album of Patsy Cline-type songs. MC: America’s Sweetheart.

    TENNA – OMG, what is she wearing? Looks like a 1950’s spandex bathing suit!  Changed her hairstyle for Nicki, but all I could concentrate on was that big honkin’ earring that was about to rip through her earlobe. KU: camera took your emotion away; NM: I like your boobs. (Well, who wouldn’t? The bra part of her dress looks like a Spiderman mask.) Ryan tries out a boob joke, Tenna not amused.

    ANGIE – back at the piano singing a Colton Dixon song. I don’t want to like her…she looks like a beauty pageant contestant, but I love her voice. Can hear Broadway potential in it. Judges love it!!!

    AMBER – last time, the judges told her she needed confidence, so tonight she sang a Whitney Houston song (almost guaranteed to get thrashed by the judges based on past comments to those who choose BIG songs), but she sang it beautifully, and the judges loved it.

    KREE – What can I say? I love this girl! Judges love her, too. NM: You’re my wife.  KREE: I’m just trying to do my wife proud. RJ: In it to win it; MC: How can you top that?

    ADRIANA – Looks and sounds like Miss Teenage Anchorage contestant tonight. Pitchy, straining for high notes. KU: Not your best song choice. NM: You need to just go home and come back next year. (OUCH!)

    CANDICE -  Great job, great voice. Judges loved her.

    I second that emotion (on who Blessings listed) for the top four.  Tuned in late and missed Breanna and Aubrey, but didn't realy care for Janelle.  For me, dog, for me, there just were NO moments last night, no serious connections between artist and music.  Yes, all the girls have different "tones" but in some respects many in this crew are interchangeable as far as their vocal acrobatics go (so far.)

    Hey ladies! Missed this forum lately. Do you keep it going for The Voice too?

    I'm actually liking the new judges.  Didn't think I would, but I agree with whoever said that Keith is quite good.  I love his analytical approach with all the technical details about singing (who knew?).  I feel like Mariah is playing the J-Lo role - say nice things and make them feel good about themselves (so she's a good one to have last).  I'm loving Nikki Minaj - she's like the new Simon, who I've missed (but I don't like X-Factor). Nikki is funny, too.  You can tell she cracks herself up, haha.  And Randy is just Randy, but I'm glad he's still there, yo dawg.

    I'm not too familiar with the singers yet, I keep missing episodes here and there.  But I do like Kree.  And yes, I feel like AI is "steering" our voting options.  My son says it's because they've been teased because the last 6 or 7 winners have been labeled as a "white guy with a guitar".  I guess it's the powerful teenage girl vote.
