Nipple tatoo

My PS is Charleston said that Blue Cross does not cover the pigmentation tatoo of the created nipple.  Any experience with this anyone?

    No experience, but not every Blue Cross is the same as some employers plans are better than others. You should contact your carrier directly and ask.

    i don't have Blue Cross Inusuance but my 3-D tattoos were covered 100% by my insurance with a $30 co-pay. My PS said the tattoos are part of the 1998 law that requires insurance companies to pay for reconstruction including achieving "symmetry". The law might only apply to insurance through group plans but may not be included in individual policies (not sure about that detail).
