Radiation, Summer, Sun, Swimming

I will be having radiation starting end of April to end of May/early June. I will admit I have been so focused on getting through chemo that I don't know much about radiation, aside from when and how it's done. I spend the whole summer outside swimming with my kids and curious how radiation impacts that. I was planning on wearing a swim shirt to protect my chest. What do others do?
